So funny, I painted "Rob Robberson" earlier this year for my own Frostgrave warband. I also like the Mantic Dungeon Saga Undead & GW skellies you used. You have excellent taste, sir. ;-)

Hi there!!!! Thank you for writing this scenario. I hope you don't mind, but I have tweaked it a little, putting the action in the remains of an abbey, rather than a graveyard, and changed the name of the Relic, just so that it fits into my own campaign. I write fantasy fiction based on Frostgrave for a group of Facebook friends. I love this scenario and will include it in my fiction, BUT I will give full credits to you for the scenario, when I write this chapter of my fiction. The cultists in my fiction are called the "Veil of Gray" so your cultist fit beautifully into my fiction.

I don't mind at all and would love to see your work! I hope you find the entire campaign just as enjoyable.

Cool scenaro, look forward to the next one. What are your thoughts about running the scenaro co-op with two wizards? what adjustments would you make?
@thefantasyskirmisher38942 жыл бұрын
Hi Michael - I would use the suggestion in the Perilous Dark book (pg. 8). Your wizard would have 200Gc to build a warband and can have no more than 4 soldiers.

Great scenario. I have a nice model graveyard will run this. Where is the battle may from? Perfect for Frostgrave

The battlemat is from Table Toppers.

Picking up items is an activation/move. They could have been in trouble in turn 9

At the beginning of the video you have a picture of the Russian artist Vasnetsov. Is this some kind of symbolism or a randomly selected picture?
@thefantasyskirmisher38945 ай бұрын
Hi. It was random. When thinking of a cool name for the relic, I remembered an old 80's song by Camper Van Beethoven called "Eye of Fatima" so I just went for it.

Aren't you supposed to move the figure and resolve actions before moving the next figure? That is my understanding of the rules. It is a good looking set-up.
@thefantasyskirmisher38942 жыл бұрын
During a group activation during the Wizard or Apprentice phases, "a player must move all the figures activating in that phase before any of them can perform a second action." this is on page 43 of the 2nd edition rulebook.
@johnkidby7948 Жыл бұрын
@@thefantasyskirmisher3894 That IS how a group activation works, but activating soldiers during the wizard or apprentice phase doesn't actually constitute a "group activation" unless you want it to. It's just an option you have if, for example, you want to pile in as many soldiers as possible to a combat before any of them actually start swinging, in order to make the best use of support. Everyone always seems to get that wrong. (I did too, at first.) Joe McCullough has clarified it a couple of times, but apparently nobody reads the FAQs...

What game is this? WFRP?
@thefantasyskirmisher38942 жыл бұрын
The game is called Frostgrave which is a 2-player game. This 4-part series is a campaign I designed for solitaire play. I will be uploading the campaign to BGG after its conclusion.

@@thefantasyskirmisher3894 Cheers : ) It looks very fun and seems to work well solo.

Please don't ever do the text on screen thing again. I didn't read it and simply takes away from what you are trying to do.
@thefantasyskirmisher38942 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the feedback. I know that it was a lot of text, but I thought it would be more interesting than me reading it. It’s a narrative campaign and want to convey the story, so I thought it would be more “cinematic” with the music in the background (like Star Wars). Is reading it better? Scenarios 3 & 4 have no background story and I’ll take a hard look at scenario 2.
@TheBoneBrew2 жыл бұрын
@@thefantasyskirmisher3894 yeah I feel like having heard your voice with the text and background music would have been a better choice.

@@thefantasyskirmisher3894 I like it.

I disagree, respectfully. I liked reading the text and the lead into the game.

@@andyhenly1538 One year later... I also appreciated the text; not a negative for me! :-)
