The interesting thing about Zoidberg and his species is that they are a race of brutal warriors and conquerors. In one episode, the decapodians take over Earth because Zoidberg was sentenced to death. Zoidberg confirms that freedom is a rare thing on his home planet, and their mating season includes ritualistic fights to the death. Decapodians have several backups to their organs, which might lead Zoidberg to ask if disemboweling is fatal in humans. Adding in the fact that their hands are deadly weapons, they have natural armor, and even an ink sac, the decapodians are actually a terrifying species. Hell, we've seen Zoidberg, who isn't even a trained fighter, battle a robot mafioso and yetis. Zoidberg is kind of a badass in his own right

Makes you wonder how tough Fry is then. I mean the man is not exactly in shape nor is he shown to really ever get in fights throughout the series and to top it off he's not very smart. And yet despite all that not only did he hold his own against an enraged Zoidberg he actually overcame him and could have killed him, and even after sparing Zoidberg and Zoidberg getting the drop on him he still managed to beat the crap out of him with his OWN arm, so yeah props to Fry for being above competent for once.

Matthew tbf with guts, he did just watch hell literally appear before his eyes for the first time, casca getting raped, griffith coming back as a dick, and then going blind in one eye, being heavily implied that said eye will always see the scene of casca's rape due to that being the last thing that eye sees, and ripping his own arm off with a broken sword after fighting off demons in vain while other demons murdered his closest companions.

The nutcracker was actually a good weapon against zoidberg. The other two wouldn't deal as much damage to zoidberg's tough shell and Fry stupidity and clumsiness would've made him cut off his own arm or worse.

But look at that shovel-axe thing. Not only does that have a hefty amount of metal for the blade but both sides end at a sharp point. A two handed swing down onto Zoidberg's shell could easily puncture straight through like a pickaxe. All that weight and force all focused onto a single sharp point like that? That's a dead crab. The crab shell cracker has too short range to be as devastating. When your most lethal move is to grapple someone while they're within arms reach trying to fight back it's just not that good.

I noticed watching the entire series of Futurama I noticed that fry isn't as dumb as he looks. Although he may not have a lot of common sinces he's the reason why the future is the way it is. Damn... it's weird how memory works. I started watching this thinking that I've never seen this clip, because I never continued watching this cartoon to the very end. Then suddenly, it just comes rushing back when I heard the dialogue-I saw this when it aired!!! 😳😳😱 So many years ago. Probably the early 2000s, I think.

I laughed so hard at this episode scene, seeing Fry use his own arm as a weapon was hilarious and just throws it. At 2:30 that's my reaction when a friend steals my crush, or if a person stole someone's money outta gambling. I loved Futurama since I was 11 years old, brings me back memories when animated comedy shows were funny and entertaining to watch. 😂😂😂😂😂😆
