Thank you! Before I assigned "Toggle reverse thrust" to button 17 which was way too unreliable/glitchy. This works better!

Thanks for posting. I found that the detent is almost imperceptible so doing the retard/flare engages the reverse thrust before the plane is on the ground. I think it's easier to assign a button to toggle the reversers and then push the throttle forward to get full reverse thrust.

I prefer toggle. instead of hold-decrease. So I go the button to minimum. it toggle the thrust to reverse, then I put the button back to max thrust, and then I am at the maximum power of reverse. Then, go again to the bottom - toggle - and accelerate normally with normal thrust.

Thanks for the nice hint. Unfortunately this does not work for me. I have the version for XBox (Airbus Edition) and button 17 is already assigned (fix) to the physical button on the stick: left side, front, next to the "Y" button.

Thanks for good video. I can inform you, that this also works with Thrustmaster HOTAS WARTHOG.... the same procedure..

To reach idle, I re-calibrated the slider in windows/ control panel/ hardware & sound/ devices/game controller/ properties. When calibrating slider don't include the part below the detent, in other words, the button 17 part.

So I followed your video and mine only gos down to the beginning of the Reverse Thrust in the airbus? but it wont go any lower? i can manually push with the mouse.. and than it gos into reverse. how do you get it to continue further down to activate it?

I’m trying to do it in the fenix a320 but it won’t work, in the settings do I click “on press” or “on release” Edit now the throttles have a mid of their own when in idle
