I don’t want to think Justice can be bought but the way this trial went just grossly overlooked convicting the Adelsons. Lawyers should be sworn to extract the truth and nothing but the truth! Magbanua’s lawyers were out there to protect the Adelsons through hopeless attempt to defend her thereby destroy the case against the Adelsons.

Both the prosecution and defence request things not to be put before the jury as it could be deemed prejudicial. E.g not bringing in any reference to the DV of Garcia against Katie.

Today, “presumed innocent” doesn’t go so far with MSM, social media, and podcasters blaring their opinion on an on-going case. By the time a jury is selected, they’ve heard multiple storylines about the case. I’m not saying defendants are always not guilty, the evidence speaks for itself. I’m surprised cases are not overturned during the appellate stage more often. I think these criminals thought the murder of a professor in Tallahassee wouldn’t get National attention. I am glad someone else noticed this. I personally feel that Judge Hankinson was a 'prosecution' judge. In this trial, the defense attorneys were given little to no leeway. He is now retired, so he will not be presiding over Katherine Magbanua's retrial.

He knows she is guilty as sin. But most judges in Leon County are pro-prosecution, so don't expect much difference in the retrial.
