Steve Call RC Hi yeh i just just tried it on the duck pond and mega quicker than the factory Ft011 motor, handles mint but i had quite a water leak from the rear intake pipe as it goes into the boat body, sealing that now.. Yes sure will put a vid up next weekend..i do have the leopard hobby 3665 3930kv to test as that is even more grunty😵

Hey bro looking into better servos for this boat will a 20kg servo fit this boat or does it need a smaller servo like a mini servo like the es08ma2 I just bought for my small rc boat upgrade for the h101 boat upgrade I am doing (old tired motor from ft011 with ft011 shaft...)

Hi😊..don't need a big servo like the one I fitted .I see Emil Wilkens put one in his and it screwed in without any changes

Shaft size is 4mm..Needs to be custom fitted..your own measurements to fit..

Hi Bro, Awesome vids you are making. Any chance for an Update again soon? I just bought parts to upgrade mine as well. I am fairly new to this, but wanted to keep the 4cell nature of this boat. I went with Leopard 3674 KV3270 + watercooling unit and Seaking 160A. What are your thoughts on this setup, i just ordered today, cannot wait. 😱 Cheers Emil

Emil Wilkens Hi there yes i can put a vid up later, ive changed the motor mount and added the 120A Turnigy marine esc.. I also dripped super glue, (CA) glue into all the screw holes underneath the hull as thats where my water was coming in.. also i tape around the lid to stop water coming in.. This is the perfect boat that flies, also youll need the 60-120c lipo or anything less will puff and prop no larger than 35mm

Emil Wilkens oh sorry i didnt read your full message, i think you have a great setup, i have that motor as well but havent tried it but i would use a 38mm prop 1.9p

Paul Cooper Thanks for your answer! Dont you think 38 is too much ? How fast do you think it can go with this setup ? Do you have any recommendations for new batteries and sizing. I still really want to keep the self turning feature and have the boat somewhat in balance. I actually just used silicone to seal those holes in the hull as well as all other parts of the interior where i could suspect water to enter. I think it is taking in way too much water out of the box.

Emil Wilkens I just got recommended the 38mm prop to suit the 3674 3270 kv motor by a guy that races them.. I thinks it's best to try a smaller prop first maybe 35mm..best motor ive tried is leopard 3665 3930kv on 40mm prop
