I'm in JROTC and I had trouble doing about face, helped out a lot

I've been taught this a dozen times from various NCOs throughout the years. I've never felt confident. Watched this video once and I completely mastered it first try. What a fantastic instructor.

In the academy and was taught this and still could not get it because the drills are so focused on you messing up so they can yell at you instead of teaching. watched other videos and still didn’t get it until watching this video. So now I can do it confidently after learning from this video.

My JROTC class is practicing drill tomorrow and my about faces are really bad. This helped A LOT.

Hi! I used to do this, it was the only move that cannot be performed smoothly and properly. Now watching her and others, I get to witness a confirmed proper way of performing the command correctly. Good job guys! :)

She's a "Blue Rope" instructor. These individuals are less than 10% of each class of AF Instructors. They will pull the most Form 341s from trainees each day when they see any infraction as like the simple "forgetting to issue a proper reporting statement." Also, once assigned to a flight. He or She will weed out the most trainees in the flight and only graduate the top of the line Airmen into the Air Force. My friend from college had a Blue Roper in AFBMT and their flight went from 60 individuals to just 35 that Graduated. Many BR instructors if Top Notch can end up with 25 or even less. Some BRs have been considered for OCS and became officers. A lot of credit to all AF instructors as they're are only 1 instructor per flight at all times. Not like 3-4 with Marines.

I got a tip from a board cadet and they said if you can’t line up your feet the same like one is more back try kicking your feet so you have time to line it up

When I was in basic, none of us had black tees. All brown. She's got a faded one, purple which is awesome. Gray shirt is the seriously OG though. Sewed down pockets is de rigeur.

Is this Airforce Bootcamp? If so, she's a lot calmer and nicer about instruction than my CC's were in Coast Guard boot. Very informative though, and a great refresher after not really doing facing movements for 4 years.

If you do any of these movements wrong, you'll do a facing movement you don't want: HALF-RIGHT...FACE!! The command you'll most likely hear after this that you definitely don't want to hear or do is: FRONT LEANING REST POSITION....MOVE!

Idk..the way that drill sergeant is doing that doesn’t seem correct. It’s too fluid like..when I was in we had to snap that foot back and move like a robot. There was no wobbliness about it. Everyone’s taught differently I guess.
