yea that's the thing bud it's more usable with open diffs that's why I just packed them with grease just to tighten them up a bit and not totally lock them 🤪👍🐿

@@009ADVENTURES Thanks for the reply. I noticed from looking at the big gear online that it looks like it has a groove around its inside that might seat an o-ring? Would be awesome if that is the case so that we can seal the diffs and run oils!

yes bud it definitely does, first job on any ftx is to grease them 😉 👍

@@AndyRCchannel don't think locking it would make it quieter tbh . I did lock mine but hated it so unlocked it again. it was better for drifting but unless as a track car then and I use it for both 👍

no bud you will need a brushless esc for a brushless motor 👍

hu, I have to say I love it. has all you need and I've not had anything go wrong with it. and its cheap so I would have to say yes it is goid for the price. a few of us use them at the club and they keep up with other cars costing more 👍

I wouldn't use that bud it's not meant for moving parts and will wear things out fast , just multi purpose grease is what you need 👍

@@009ADVENTURES thanks mate, if you get bored and still have this car a full strip down video and replace for beginners would be great because I don't have a clue, and I put my motor back in a few days ago and wondered why it was so slow, its because it wasn't aligned right, had no idea it had to be.

yes well it's due a service soon so I could video it, may take a week or 2 unless I find time before but I can do that bud
