In this video, I give you feedback on my FTX Vantage 1.0, I discuss my new FTX Vantage Brushless, we go driving in a comparison between the Vantage 1.0 on 2s Lipo and the Brushless Vantage on 2s Lipo, and we take a look at the very impressive looking new FTX Supaforza GT that is about to go on sale in the UK.....Enjoy!

I have my original brushed Vantage, rebuilt twice and now converted to 2WD and I also have a Vantage 2.0 yet to be run. I've been thinking of a brushless FTX and the machine in my sights is the Zorro - currently £239 at my favourite RC site - as I really want a basher. 😁 The new FTX is quite a bit beyond my price point and its size and power make it tricky as I've no place local to me that is big enough to run such a beast. A shame as the blue (it has always got to be the blue with me) one really is quite the looker. So my plan this year is to buy the Zorro and get around to building the 2 Tamiya kits I bought last year. I may possibly also treat myself to a Maverick Strada XB brushless buggy if the price stays low.

You need a big open space to explore the Supaforza capabilities. My experience with Radix 6 tells me that! The Zorro is on my list....as it is superb value!! Nice to see you Nick!

Hi there Simon, the FTX range does certainly seem to be price competitive, with impressive build features, the only thing I would say is that they are predominantly RTR, whereas, I like the build experience. Best wishes 😊😊

Hi John, nice to see you! Yes, you are of course correct.....RTR is the way of FTX. An FTX kit would be wonderful! My building itch is scratched by Tamiyas, but the end product (meaning the built car) is mediocre unless you have spent a fortune on Tamiya Hop Ups! I have a lot of Tamiya in my stash, and I am not having a go at them, but I feel we buy Tamiya for the building experience rather than the driving experience. So I think, speaking for myself, I will build Tamiya, and drive the competitors! But that is just me!....lol. Take care. (Note to self, catch up on John's vids)🙂👍
