FTX STINGER RC BEATS PERSONAL BEST !

You guys said 52 mph was the fastest seen out of the FTX STINGER, We beat that and then some more.
However we did crash the car twice!

Sideways drift meets straight-line speed runs with the Stinger from FTX. With hard drift boots included alongside sticky soft treaded rubber tyres, you can literally decide on the fly how and where you want to run your Stinger.
With a wide aero inspired wide moulded main chassis featuring no screw head, this smooth finish, coupled with a rear diffuser provides stability at speed. Shaft driven with sealed, geared front and rear differentials feature metal gears throughout for maximum durability. The modular radio tray neatly houses a 15kg Etronix metal geared steering servo and Hobbywing brushless 60A esc and 3300KV motor, powered by a Voltz 2S 2500mAH Lipo battery.
Oil filled shock absorbers, anti-roll bars and adjustable double wishbone suspension lets you tweak to suit your settings and tyre choice; either treaded rubber tyres for street racing, featuring 25mm wide front and 30mm wide rear for better stability at high speed or hard plastic boots on 6-spoke wheels for sideways drift driving.
The Stinger is topped off with a moody muscle car body that features moulded front grill and light buckets front and rear housing a multifunction LED light set.

Well done guys. I had mine out the other day and had very similar issues with the steering. I disconnected the servo and the steering was quite tight and noticed the screws holding the steering block and caster block together was too tight stopping the steering centring properly. I haven’t managed to test it since but might be worth looking at

Where did you find spare rear hub carrier please? I crashed mine and broke one a few weeks ago and they are out of stock everywhere.

Great video guys, just got a stinger and they are pretty good, eats tyres 😂, have you got a link for the different wheels and tyres you put on please, might also try foam tyres to stop balloning, could also trim a bit of the chassis down to stop tyres hitting then probably be more stable at higher speeds 👌

@@thercstore. thank you for the reply guys, I was also thinking foam especially 3s, would you have a link for foams at all please?. Seen a few videos with people saying they handle crap but probably don't realise about the gyro being set wrong way from factory and tyres ballooning at high speed and catching chassis causing car to crash 👌

@scarfacealiboy Hi, the ftx stinger is not compatible with mobile devices for pairing. If you are referring to the GPS, this is the SKYRC GPS module we have used. I hope this helps.

Can you advice, I just bought my Stinger and only used it once yesterday it’s now not turning on the battery is fully charged and transmitter has new batteries also this item does not have error lights so I’m confused:(

@scarfacealiboy That's strange. Is the ESC powering on??? Personally, if it's only been used once the car should be under warranty. I would take it to the store where you purchased it from, and they should replace or fix it. If the ESC is not switching on, it could be a faulty ESC. If it's turning on, try re binding (pairing) your transmitter.

I think your gyro is reversed that's why you are struggling to keep it in a straight line. I might be wrong but I saw many with the same issue. Great video curious for the next one 😉

@@ZbiriB thank you for the comment! its really appreciated. Its not the gyro as we have ran this car many times. One tyre was unglued, rears were ballooning and catching. This is common after around 34 mph. On the last run I cut the diffuser where it was catching the rear tyres upon ballooning and it was much better but we were having issues with the wind.
