I think also Kobe knew he had to play 40 min a game, and sometimes if you don't have to, you don't need to spend that much energy when it's not necessary,...i look at MJ, he only went 100% when he had to (now brothas are shooting 40 3's so it's hard to coast lol) but Giannis is 1 player I can count that goes 100% all the time and he is gassed and needs 2-3 extra min. off, so Kobe was doing self-preservation.

T-Mac was exactly who I was thinking of when they mentioned that list. That guy had similar skills and athleticism as VC and Kobe, but had more length than both... took it harder to the basket than VC and was a better 3 point shooter than Kobe. Not saying T-Mac was better... in case I am gonna rile up all the haters, cause I do think T-Mac didn't want your heart like Kobe did, but I do think T-Mac and Vince did suffer from the "game being too easy" for them and not really being as maniacal as KB to be great!

Well I threw the best head fake of my life and I will always remember the look on his face and hearing him say oh sh*t as he flew by me. Then the coach made him run for leaving his feet and not blocking the shot and for cursing. Best part was everyone going ooohhhhh. And laughing. In EARLY 2000s (2000-2009 let's say) the toughest 3 players to guard especially that Dahntay Jones would have guarded and there were QUITE A FEW (Malone, Duncan, O'Neal, McGrady, Carter, Francis, Wade, Lebron, Carmelo, Nowitzki, Nash, Pierce, Davis, Marbury, Bosh, and Garnett in general) were probably Iverson, Bryant, and Chris Paul (a little bit before Kyrie Harden Durant Westbrook Curry Rose among others). As good as Bryant was and he was a little bit better than Iverson, in terms of guarding, Iverson would run you ragged, super quick ability to blow by, a ton of moves off the dribble, could get to the line a lot, pretty good shooter and mid range game and an amazing ability on offense to use his small size, speed, and quickness to his advantage. Bryant had a post up game, great footwork, a solid body, athleticism, explosiveness, a decent outside shot, a good mid range game, an ability to get to the basket with ease, an ability to draw fouls, an array of moves and a silky smooth handle to create his own shot. Paul had the best handle of all 3 a good shot a good mid range game could create almost anything and a super creative passer. Not as good of a scorer as Iverson or Bryant but as big a headache as anybody in the league at the point guard spot especially on the fast break and as quick as Iverson.
