Replacing the fuel door actuator on a VW Jetta SE 2011.
In the beginning the fuel door would not open and the actuator was not working at all. The fuel door had been missing for some time and the actuator had suffered the elements of Texas weather. Using WD-40 it started working after about 24hrs from applying but we already ordered the part from AutoZone. Here is just a quick video of how to easily change it. Enjoy!

Hey, great video. Do you have any idea how to get the fuel door open in order to replace the actuator? Mine has been dying for a while... Well that might be it... I just popped into the trunk, only to realize tye cavity is sealed. Any help is appreciated. Thanks .✌🏾😎

First make sure the car is unlocked, but honestly I think the only way is to brute force it if it won't open. The actuator is plastic and will hopefully break before the latch on the fuel door does. Hope that helps.
