Maybe you could go as far as in side diameter of the fuel line's as well just a thought.peace

We did take a look at that. The set up today has no restrictions (step downs) from the fuel pump to the regulator. We definitely learned our lesson on this one!

Come on guys ....... this is nothing but an advertisement, and at the same time You are pointing-out the fact that whoever set up the Fuel-System in your Dyno-Room had no clue of what they were doing. If any thing, a Regulator restriction should INCREASE your Fuel-Pressure by NOT being able to dump enough Fuel back to the Fuel-Cell under Low-Load conditions. . The Regulator goes AFTER the injectors, NOT before the Injectors. . You should also have a Brushless, PWM-Controlled, Fuel-Pump(s), that automatically slow down under Light-Loads. . . .

This is actually what happened. The EFI system on that engine commanded such a long injector pulse width that the fuel pressure dropped. It was the closed loop correction that commanded more fuel, and we agree the dyno fuel system wasn't built for an engine like that. We are just sharing our experience.

You are correct, the pressure regulator must be after the injectors, not before the injectors.

Maybe Ben didn’t explain the situation well enough. Because of the high level of boost, a lot more fuel was required to maintain the proper air to fuel ratio. With the supplied injector size, the pulse width of the injection event was so long that the fuel system pressure began to drop because the small passage in the initial regulator would not allow enough fuel to flow to the injectors. In the full video from the Engine Performance Expo, this is explained in greater detail.

Too much enthusiasm, and not enough thinking . Everybody's got to make an income, I certainly can understand that, I simply expected more technical credibility from you guys. . . .

Why don’t you put the regulator after the fuel rails? Then you can regulate it after the rails and have the rest return? That way you don’t have that loss of pressure when it’s running threw your rails
