Finally, another stunning camera from Fuji but, for the first time this new form factor is a better match to the excellent 16-55mm f/2.8 lens ! And with the vertical grip, it looks like a FF reflex camera. Love it, really. I am using an X-T1, X-T2 and X-PRO2... I am now keeping my eyes focused on that new baby ! Well done Fuji.

Just got the Power Booster pack at B&H for $1,299 US as a 3rd Fujifilm camera in my bag for sports and using my legacy Nikon glass (IBIS + Peak Focus). Thanks for this video and the set-up nuggets. Anyone coming from a DSLR environment, the ergonomics of this body+grip are much better than the X-T3 and are easier to shot for sports/wildlife (eg. the shutter button placement and feel)

This is something I really wanna say....thanks so much Fuji as someone in a wheelchair. However I just have a couple things really bugging me :/ + please when setting ISO on auto, give a LIVE readout of what the ISO is doing/metering instead of just listing the max ISO value & only seeing the readout when pressing the shutter -- when the moment is lost. This is huge for street photography. All other cameras do this but Fuji doesn't :p --> please please please as someone in a wheelchair with disabilities I understand the physical nobs and I actually love them!! I don't wanna go back but honestly please give us an option to set fps, ISO & aperture via turnstile wheels by setting them to auto with manual option (like you have us for ISO in a recent update). --> lastly put a focal distance bar option in there! Using a zoom and chimping the lens isn't always the best. It has the technology :/ Please pleaseeeee please resolve this in an update. I plan to mak a video soon on everything I've noticed but these are some of the main issues I've been having

I have a 64 GB Note 8 with a 400GB Sandisk Ultra Micro SDXC UHS-I Card for a total of 464GB. One of the things I love doing if shooting with my micro SD card with adapter and then putting the micro SD in my phone for editing, viewing and uploading.

Hello can i ask some question about this camera .. do you know How to hidden battery indicator on sub monitor when camera turn off ..
@marcusnz232
@marcusnz232 6 жыл бұрын
Given that the camera is larger, why has it not been given a decent battery? You could have a large capacity battery for the grip - there is enough room there for a Nikon D3s size battery and that battery powers a D3s through 2000+ shots per charge. For me using this camera, averaging say 800 shots per 3 batteries for two bodies would mean that on assignment I would need at least 12 batteries per days shooting on busy days, all of which have to be charged up in an hotel room overnight....how many chargers does THAT need and how long will it take?

As of today (March 23, 2020), the current firmware version for the X-H1 is Version 2.01. If your camera already has that version, it will not allow you to re-install. If you are experiencing an issue with the operation of your camera, it is best to contact the support desk for the Fujifilm office in your area. They are better suited to work with you to resolve it. In Canada, call: 1.800.461.0416. In the USA, call: 1.800.800.3854. For all other countries, please visit our website, and choose your country from the drop-down list in the upper right portion of the page. You will find the contact information for your local Fujifilm office there. www.fujifilm.com/

Is this a replacement for the X-T line - essentially a "X-T3" or will the the X-T line continue alongside the X-H? In other words, will there be a X-T3 coming out in the future? They just seem too similar, except for enhanced video features and IBIS (and some other minor tweaks).

Sorry I didn't find the answer I was looking for: If you put a lens that has image stabilization built in onto the XH1 do you have to turn the I.S mode off on the camera whilst using this lens or will the camera register this for you. The problem is Fuji lenses with I.S built in can't be turned off on the lens OR can you just use both at the same time?

Replacing manual controls with screen swipes and taps is NOT a professional feature for professional cameras. A no-feedback sweep will never be 100% effective (when performed by muscle memory), unlike a working hard control, which is always effective. On the 4 fufifilm cameras I've used extensively (x-t2, x-t3, x-h1, x100v), the swipe controls were unreliable and imprecise. The x100v was the worst in terms of controls (because they got rid of the 5 directional controls on the back). I had to re-assign every button and still had settings that needed menu diving or screen swipes... annoying.

@fujiguys
@fujiguys 5 жыл бұрын
Sajjad. People choose the X-H1 for having IBIS and being more rugged than the X-T3. The X-T3 is chosen when higher performance is desired. It's worth seeing them side by side in a store and getting a feel for which form factor you prefer.
@ROD9569

Yes was just wondering is the X-h1 a camera that is a grate choice for portrait/Beauty work or go with the xt2.. Please some input please...
@fujiguys
@fujiguys 6 жыл бұрын
Hey. Both are great choices, as they will produce similar image quality for stills. The one advantage the X-H1 has is in-body image stabilization, so that non-stabilized lenses, like the XF56mmF1.2 (which is an awesome portrait lens), is stabilized when using it.
@TheCoomer
@TheCoomer 6 жыл бұрын
Could I ask if the in body stabilisation works with lenses that are already stabilised, adding extra stability? For instance the five stops working with a lens that already allows for four stops perhaps gives it an extra two stops?
@fujiguys
@fujiguys 6 жыл бұрын
Great question. At this time the IBIS and OIS do not provide extra stops. It will use the more efficient axis’ in either the lens or the body to give the best possible results. This can provide up to 5.5 stops depending on the lens.

Hi Andre. You should be able to press the "Q" button, then toggle to the film simulation and then rotate the rear command dial to either "B" (conventional Black and White) or "A" for ACROS film simulation. These film simulations are reflected in the .jpg images. If you are shooting RAW only, the images will not be affected.

Any idea? Do you think my camera will be like before this accident? Please share your experience with me. Thank you

We're sorry to hear of your issue using non-Fujifilm accessories. As long as you are using an authorized Fujifilm repair facility the camera should work properly after being repaired. I bought the xh1 as soon as it hit the shelves and have been waiting for the xh2 ever since. The AF for stills is ok, but for fast-moving objects that come straight at you, the AF is downright bad. In the meantime I bought a sony a7III because its AF is much better ... almost perfect. My Sony has a very high hit rate and my Fuji xh1 and xt3 have a bad hit rate. And yes I have really tried everything from settings. I also have a total of 11 fuji lenses, of which there are those that have the best AF according to experts. I do 98% stills and 2% video with my cameras, and here too my sony excels with great AF while my fuji bodies have medium to poor AF. Fuji released the xh1 at the time as their top model (outside of the gfx) but shortly after released an xt3 that was better and the xh1 has given almost no firmware updates while they have continuously improved the xt2 and xt3 through firmware updates. My xh1 is the body I prefer to hold in my hands, even though it's my "worst" body. I really hope that fuji releases an xh2 and that this will be their really top model and not make the mistake with the xh1 anymore.

Freelancing youtube channels getting better clips with much! lower budget. It should be critic to the PR department of fujifilm.

stumpycat VM critique is never stupid, the way you say it can be. I brought my opinion an pointed out what's missing. You seem to be caught on wrong thinking. With this presentation, fujifilm can't even compete with non-profit youtubers, reviewing their product. So maybe they should hire them instead publishing that loveless done clip. Get in mind. This is not a rewiew. This clip is 100% pure commercial. With a flagship product you should make use of state of the art techniques(lighting, sound, camera pans, detailshots, music ). That's all I wanna say. I am interested in the product, that brought me here. Maybe my critique leads to reevaluate the you called "strict parameters" otherwise they never wake up.. Bye the way. I don't care about your opinion. My critique is aimed to the publisher and just a public statement.
