Arthur, you speak well to the camera, and you have the voice to do well on YT. I got my order in with B&H at 12:04 CST according to my receipt email and yes I got mine two days after shipping started. I love it just as much as I do all my other Fuji gear. Looking forward to seeing what your channel has to offer, be consistent and grow your audience.

Hey Arthur, loved your video, I'm so glad you popped up in my feed (guess I've been watching too many X100VI videos....). I was also lucky to pick mine up in the first wave of B&H pre-orders, arrived on Friday March 1st. Love this little thing! I really appreciated your honest comments and laid back style. A short and to the point video, with viewpoints from a real person, not a pro, and very easy to listen to. I agreed with just about everything you said. I'll definitely check out more of your videos, and you've earned my sub.

does your VI has warm issue like V when taking pics?

Wow I am kinda surprised you would sell the XT-5, (I own one) I think the 100 series could be a fun companion myself. Do you have a black or silver XT-5. I am actually starting to shop for a second or an xh2s. because I need another body that has solid video. I enjoyed the video other than the wind noise at the end. Do you do any videos showing your work as well.

What made you choose black over silver brother? I'm conflicted.

I vibe with the black way more, but both look super smooth!

What's with the moire on the bottom of your shirt towards the end of the video? Is that because of YT compression or is that caused by the VI?

Hello, great video!! Congratulations. Have you noticed softness in the images?
@ArthurFTM22 ай бұрын
The photos i'm getting are plenty sharp and the lens seems to resolve 40mp worth of detail just fine. I would compare the sharpness to many of Fuji's XF compact primes, but not quite one of their more premium f1.4 Primes. But, its worth pointing out... i'm of the opinion that cameras have become to close to perfect. I often shoot at higher ISOs specifically to soften and degrade the image. I might not be the right person to ask.

Actually most lenses are too sharp for my liking. I hope the X100VI isn't too clinical sharp. 😍
@just_A_Hack2 ай бұрын
@@ArthurFTM2I love this answer. The newer Nikon s are so sharp I turn the sharpness down. I like a softer crunchier photo personally but I understand there are those who want the most crisp image.

For the build quality I have one complaint this port plastic door is little loose in my unit. I’d like to have it with some rubber or something to be more tight;) except that it’s good. Battery door they could improve like it is in xh2s just close without having to manually switch close.
@RandyPollock2 ай бұрын
Mine is a little loose also, when the door is open it's tight, but closed it does move back and forth some

I’ve got one on preorder to compliment my X-S20. Obviously a lot of positive hype but this one seems to be getting more hate. Guess it’s become too popular.

I think being that it’s a 35mm equivalent lens that it’s designed for the typical 35mm shooters… street photographers - I mean at this price point… yes you can use it at home but inside it could be a bit too wide. No one will ever say a 35mm is the first choice for portrait photography. Can you do it? Yes, but portrait photographers will most likely go for 85mm or 50mm lenses. I think the camera is overhyped because a lot of KZfaq content is cranked by (you guessed it) street photographers. Yes there are street photographers that favor 28mm but it’s not the norm. The casual photographer will need to adapt their shooting style. Again to get portrait style images they will need to get up close

Yeah I never really got on with the X100 23mm for my head and shoulder portrait shots. That focal length gave me great outdoor full length and small group shots though. I swapped back to an ILC as I prefer the 35mm and 50mm on my aps-c Fuji for the classic portrait stuff. I shoot more with the 35mm as I like to off centre candid shots.

Guys, just buy an XT5, it’s the saaame camera. You can slap lenses on it for more diverse and better results.
@lensman2272 ай бұрын
Dude! That makes sense if it’s the only camera you own. I own a Nikon Z8 with a bunch of lenses and I still ordered the X100VI because sometimes I just want a good camera that I can put in my pocket. I previously owned the X100S and I loved it. Unfortunately, I lost the X100S while traveling in Europe last year.
