Thanks for the video. I have the XT-3 and XS-10. XS-10 all the way for its size and IBIS, my XT-3 is permanently stuck on the gimbal nowadays. Cheers

Thanks for the great review. What do we think of the AF for vlogging? Any lagging or drop outs?

It definitely can lose you (check out Camera Conspiracies for the best examples) but if you keep the AF box on your chest, it does a pretty good job as long as you don't go out of frame. My 18-35 and Fringer work very well, but the AF still misses every now and then. Definitely not bad AF, but i wouldn't necessarily trust it on a high-pressure shoot.

Absolutely agree about stabilization ,90% of weddings i make, i need stabilized footage with my g9 ,and I was between xs-10 and xt-3 to buy ,but i will go for sure with xs-10 ,and as you said, an 8-bit stabilized footage, is better than 10-12-14-bit unusable shot ,even with arri alexa.

I was waiting for an XT3 with flip screen so XS10 it is. IBIS for video...hmm. It`s not easy to stabilize the sensor at the level of Osmo pocket ( or even better Osmo Action ) Btw: the latest update of Lumafusion can apply stabilization without visible crop. I know it`s not the most professional editor out there, but it does the job for most of the time.

Yeah smaller sensors definitely have an advantage in IBIS. I'm glad you chose the XS-10! Keep me posted if you have any questions about it.

I currently have an XT3 but want to introduce video to wedding clients in the near future. I like shooting with primes and Fuji has shied away from IS in their prime lens offerings.

Interesting! Primes are great, but no IS in the lenses or the X-T3 i'm sure makes it a little more difficult.

I think the X-S10 is a great hybrid if you need IBIS. if you don't, then X-T3 all the way.

What’s your take on the quality of footage with an Atomos ? I’m tempted to try this combo as an alternative to the s5.

I haven't used it with the Atomos, but the image (even in 8 bit Eterna) was really great to work with. Fuji colors are so nice. With that said, the lack of custom video dials and terrible battery life makes me choose the S5 every time.

You know me! I love my 4K 60… but at this point ibis might be more important. I’m not quite sure. My Sony’s ibis makes me miss the gh5 ibis lol

for videography and film which is worth? XS10 or Xt3 this are only my budget range tx4 are expensive. Please guide planning to buy but I dont know which one both are good cameras.

Both are great, but I would go with the XT3 if you don’t need ibis and xs10 if you do.

Hey do you mind to give me an opinion between XS-10 and Sony ZV-E10, since i am just a hobbyist photographer, trying to make portfolios for Product photography, while also planning to make youtube content (mostly cafe's and restaurant vlog)

If you're vlogging, Sony will serve you much better with autofocus. But the only downside is you don't get IBIS, so you'd need a stabilized wide-angle lens. The X-S10 will work, but you'll be missing focus sometimes.

It's pretty good with my 18-35 and fringer! Not as good as Sony or Canon, but it works pretty well.

Hi Nolan, I’m using sony A6400 for indoor shooting and lumix GX85 for outdoor. I’m thinking to sell both of those cameras and buy the Fuji XS-10. Is it worthed? My need is to create a portrait video and office documentation. I need an ibis and mic jack

It would be a great option for you as long as you're ok with 30 minute record limits. The ibis isn't going to be as good as your GX85 though.

Is stabilization in fuji much worse than with G85?

I would say it's maybe 15% worse than the G85. The XT-4 may be close though.
