Makes stealing really easy, especially in the clothing store where it's built into the tag. Just rip the tag off and you're good to go, very discreet.

For stores like this, it would have tags that are deactivated by the checkout automatically as soon as payment is accepted

My thumb needs to be scanned multiple times so this scanner for the hand might be abit tricky. (Imagine I hold up the queue behind me..) And it's a little unhygienic to place the palm one after another for consecutive transactions. Providing sanitary gel after self-servicing doesn't sound great too when every customer needs to press onto the same dispenser to sanitize. Not that I am against the concept though. 😶

all I can say FUJITSU is the best of the best!!!!!........anyway if all the people out there has also a palm scan then they would line up all also,, if I'm the system engineers manager you all don't need to line up, you just go out directly! .... I have invented this from my mind last 2001, didn't have a chance to make it earlier from my self, BUT soon even better that all the people don't line up anymore even all has a palm scan, they just come-in and come out with their purchases!

That could not be implemented on small margin retail stores such as supermarkets. Having RFID chips on every product, even those that cost 1 or 2 dollars seems like a huge hustle.

Hi JAKEY, paying with palm is hygienic because it is completely contactless and cardless. There is no need to touch any shared surfaces or hand a card or cash to an attendant.

It's very simple. You would register your biometric data to be linked to the store and a method of payment. Then, all you have to do is use your palm to make payment.

The Shopping Cart is outdated. In the future they move automatically by body heat command at the rear of the Cart.You dont have to wait .You walk straight out of the Suppermarket without a checkpoint or line .The chip in your boady is scanned & also the items as you exit, which is linked to your account.In the future you are a QR code.You no longer are able to steal items because as you exit the store all items are scanned by a Scanner that is installed in the Exit Door ,which charges your accout.

It scans your palm and that is linked to an account where the money will come from. This is just a concept so it could change at some point.

it scans your palm and links it to your account. Just like alipay or another payment system like Tesco Pay+ which uses a QR code. Your palm is the code.
