Walmart also has a scan and go option. I haven’t used it so far, but I think at the end of the shopping trip, you have to generate a receipt from the self checkout because sometimes proof of purchase is checked at the door.

Moment you lift,the money is cut. So deleting Amazon account won't work. You have to delete bank account from Amazon. Then maybe you won't be paying. And, you maybe stopped from leaving the store. Good question

You are doing the work of the cashier. You are placing items carefully, and verifying it. Sometimes it makes mistakes, and you have to do it again. With the current technology, it doesn't look like it will be fun. I prefer that the cashier scans and weighs each item, not me, the customer.

@@sourabhbhat3281 If they didn't enter as a group, Harnoor will be charged and -1 quantity for that item will be made on Katy's receipt, this would usually cause an error and the error will be sent to the Amazon Go support team where I work. We will have to triage the error after looking at the footage and send it to the correct tech bucket after which necessary changes will be made to the receipt and final receipt will be prepared. If there is still any error on the receipt, then customer can always file a CiLo claim after which the receipt will be checked again by the support team and changes will be made if there is still any error.
