Great video. Is the regulator necessary ? I’m hearing mixed messages about this ! I just bought a Fulgor Milano 36”.

Absolutely you need it unless your incoming gas pressure is exactly a consistent 5"WC for NG. Pay attention to the direction of flow indicator on the regulator as well.
