They should just have a podium with one mic for each team instead of headset mics for every captain. That way they can stand away from the mic and discuss without the awkwardness of live mics directly infront of their mouth lol so much awkwardness. But i guess that's fun in it's own way.

The IIHF is really pushing 3x3 hockey (just had it at the Junior Olympics in S. Korea and are planning on introducing it to the Winter Olympics in the near future). The all-star game is also an event for kids and 3x3 is actually pretty fast pace and exciting (my kids play loads of 3x3 throughout the hockey season). Draft could have been more entertaining if the players weren’t so stiff but I don’t know if hockey players will ever not look like deer in headlights in front of a camera.

i think the point of the allstar game should be getting to see players who dont normally get to play together or against. they should split up guys on the same team. it would be more interesting. toronto was the host city so have mathews, marner, reilly and willy be the team captains going against each other.

Not sure what you expected him to say in an arena full of Toronto fans in Toronto, when asked "tell us what it means to you to be back in this building in your home town". Lol "Well, I have been playing in this building once or twice a year for nearly a decade, so about the same and I really wish the Allstar game was held in Florida again this year so I could get some beach time too on this break" If Leon and McDavid don't resign I'm not going to pieces over it. my only hope is considering both negotiated NMC in their contracts that they're honest about it and let the oilers trade them for some assets. I survived watching the Dynasty Oilers get dismantled. They was hard after watching them win 5 cups. Then 6 ex oilers do it again for the Rangers. Lol I'll survive if McDavid leaves too.
