New Danish record - youngest Dane to climb Ama Dablam (19 y/o).
Together with my father, we reached the summit at 06:13 on November 8th 2023.
I have filmed the entire expedition on my Gopro 11, and 8K Expeditions have provided the drone footage, which was taken by our team during the climb.

Congratulations! Amazing footage from an amazing mountain. One of the best I've seen from Ama Dablam. The climbing parts up to camp 2 is sooo much fun. :D

Drone flying look at the facade of yellow tower, and flying over the camp2, climber cross over the washroom....all looks so shock and greatly, 4K clearly footage and music also so super and professional. :}

Congrats mate! Great film. I remember being mesmerised by AD when trekking to EBC back in 2019 and questioning how people even scale it. Been wanting to climb it ever since. Hoping to give it a crack later this year! Look forward to the future climbs.

I've climbed similar heights, but those camp 2 tents look farking gnarly. Some huge winds and snow storms and everyone would be blown off the mountain. That is some crazy stuff. Great video. Liked and subscribed

Congratulations on your summit!! Very well put together. Ive watched your video several times already!! I'll be attempting Ama Dablam next year myself, and am considering what guiding service to use. Did 8K do the drone footage at an additional charge for you?

Thank you! I hope you will have a great expedition! I would highly suggest 8K over the other service companies. They have much more personality and are very professional. In regard to the drone footage - I made an agreement with the team. It is not a service they provide normally 😅

Physically, no it wasn’t harder. There were plenty of opportunities to rappel down some of the steeper walls such as yellow tower. However, it could get pretty gnarly when that wasn’t an option

Thanks! The price very much depends on where you are flying from, what time of year, how long you will be there, and how luxurious you may do it for yourself. So it is quite hard to tell the average cost

Most groups climb directly from Camp 2?

Yes that is the most common way. However, we wanted to summit from camp 3, as this would give us more energy on the summit push. It also put us in front of everyone else, so we were the first on the summit (06:13 am). Because we then had more time, we were also able to climb all the way down to base camp on the same day. People usually don’t want to camp at c3 because of the dangers of the overhanging ice serac.

Hello, May I ask for the temperature out there ?

The summit of Ama Dablam has temperatures varying between -20 to -30 degrees. Down in base camp, it is also cold, but if the sun is shining, it can get quite warm. The trek to base camp can be quite hot in the lower altitudes (10-20 degrees)
