People forget Phelps swam 47.51 in the heats to earn his spot on Team USA’s relay final. That time would’ve given him a bronze in this race… 100m free was arguably Phelp’s 8th best individual event 😂 that’s absurd

In 2000 VdH swam 47.84 in semifinal... wr from september 2000 until march 2008... almost 8 years... no technological suit...
