Awesome that you got the chance for this sponsor! I was considering Rokoko in the past, but am not having the funds for it at the moment, but still excited to see content about it. Although depending on what I wanted to do, I might also go for the iPi mocap suite - ofc it isn't perfect but I had decent results for it's price.

Yep, the new suit is much better than the last rev; much less drift and immunity both. If you already own a set of gloves, and you just upgrade the suit, tell them you want the "Glove" version, otherwise it will NOT have the extra cables to power the gloves and will still have to use a separate battery/wires. I'm not sure, but it acts like it normalizes the magnetometers when it is powered up. I have better luck with the new suit (and Studio Beta) if it is already being worn when powered up rather than, say, lying on the floor when powered up. Moving the battery pouch to the front makes that a whole lot easier... :D

I legit find your channel the most intuitive and easy to learn from. I've been looking into rokoko. I'm just a budding animator who wants to bring my webcomic characters to life via scene animations, the facial mocap would REALLY save time with animation. I didn't know they had full face capture. I'll definitely be looking into this. You should be proud of your channel and supporters. I can't wait to get a grasp (work through all the obsticals I've been running into trying to use vrm models as a base for my characters) on my projects so can also make my dreams come true. I appreciate you and this channel Royal. Thanks

Definitely the most price effective solution, and 10% is like $400 which is nice. Granted def not a solution for ppl just getting into experimenting with games but at that stage u shouldn’t care if u have bad animations ig

I just got a used PN3 a couple weeks ago, it works really good for the price and from what I gathered it's the best option in this price range

@@trippy6158 Hey, Trippy. How is PN3 now? Are you happy with it? What's your experience? Would you recommend it? The amount of bad stories I hear about Rokoko makes me consider PN3 instead.

@@LaurynasSFM It's still good, I'm happy with it but don't use it as much as I should. It still needs some cleanup depending on what you're doing with it but I'd say it's probably the best suit by far for the money, especially if you get it used like I did. At this point tho with AI, I wouldn't even consider a mocap suit, MOVE AI just seems so much cheaper even tho I can't stand subscription models and it's only going to get better with time(unless of course you need more than 30 mins of mocap a month), also there are a bunch of other mocap AI platforms that will come out soon

Sadly as someone who owns a rokoko suit I've found that their clean up tools never do the job and I almost always end up with quite messy mocap which takes hours and hours to clean up :/. On top of that their gloves are genuinely terrible. I can tentatively recommend the suit but absolutely can't recommend the gloves. That being said I own the first generation of the gloves so maybe the 2nd gen is better
