This movie is dope. The story is so generic and the characters so cartoonish that the whole thing is like a satire of the HK genre- but it simultaneously embraces its goofiness and transcends the caricatures, resulting in a classic. It's like if the guys who wrote the stories for 80s arcade games wrote a whole movie- I absolutely love it. 10/10

The movie is supposedly based on a Donald Westlake / Richard Stark Parker book. However, the plot is so trivial and outrageous that you just dive in the action and forget about all else.
