@@ironside915 Not weak. It depends on so many factors. I'm 91kg at 5'11 and am only eating MAX 2500 atm, I put on weight and grow easy. Some people have to smash the calories to not look like a stick. Everyone is different.

What I truly appreciate about him is his firm family roots. Dinner at the table as a family and ending your day talking and connecting with his wife. We all should strive for those values and love of family.

if you're only 7" and 300 lbs, then you have to divide by 30, if you're a dwarf of barely 6"5, divide by 60 ...i'm a hobbit, so i will divide by 100 and see the result...logically i should lose 40 pounds only

I was just thinking about how taxing it must be for a strongman to be so heavy all year round. Happy actually to see Brian shrink down a bit because its probably better for his health and performance inthe long run. Kinda giving his body a break before lets say he starts pushing again in prep for another contest.

You remember the movie Super size me? A guy who was eating burgers over and fat stuff over a month, about 5000 calories every day over a month. He almost couldn't eat that much. And he gained 24 pounds. It's crazy to imagine that Shaw eats 5000 calories a day and is still starving, and that he loses weight with that much calories...

@@leoxavier5785 that's likely from all the HGH and maybe even insulin injections. Mostly HGH I would think, though. Not only did his midsection get extremely thick, but I imagine his organs grew as well. That's the price you pay to compete at the cutting edge of strength in the 21st century.

@@veery22 It’s not like he is saving that much time. It doesn’t take half the time to cook half the food. Also, you may have noticed that everything he eats comes precooked, except for eggs.

@@TheYertletheTurtle The fact that Greg's persona is on the more annoying side isn't something that should take away from his credibility. The man has incredible determination same as Brian in his own field, just check out Greg's collab with Will Tennyson how he is normally. The thing is that the annoying persona made Greg jump up in popularity as much as it did and it works to push people to loose weight so nothing else should matter.

I’m at 2700 calories and I plan for it. I supplement a bit with Trifecta and I buy my meat from Alpine Beef. I buy 1/2 a cow. I buy from Imperfect Foods and Bountiful Baskets. It saves me 50% over retail grocery stores.

You could very easily do 200 g of protein in 150 g of fat and then however much carbs you want on less than $65 a week

You can easily eat 5000 or 6000 calories a day cheap. Big breakfast with 6 to 8 wholr eggs, bacon, toast porridge etc later make A shake with Mass gainer or protein, bananas, porridge, milk, spinach, ice cream, honey, yoghurt etc whatever you want to put in is 2 or 3 thousands calories just have that as 2 or 3 shakes throughout the day. And any left over calories have spaghetti Bolognese or a stir fry or whatever else. Rice, oats, beef mince, eggs, pasta all very cheap in bulk and Sauces if your eating the same meal every day of the month you can buy bigger quantities if you get bored do rice meals one day like currys and stuff and pasta meals then next like Bolognese etc

Brian, just want to encourage you to keep going. Scales matter, but less than the progress you feel. I am quite a bit older than you (and certainly smaller) but I decided to change the way I look and feel in March 2020. Today, I stepped in the scale and was at mylowest weight since the late 1980's. All it took was perseverance, work, stubbornness and more work. You have all those. Looking forward to see Brian Shaw reborn.

I put this into perspective of my personal training/eating. I’m 47 years old. I’m 5’8” 150 pounds. I weight train 6 days a week and I just started training for a 10K that’s in March. (I hate running, but it’s to challenge myself). I eat 2700 calories a day to maintain. And I feel like all I do is eat! I absolutely find this fascinating! ♥️💪🏼
