Essence makes hreat eyeshadow and mascara. I cant think of many other products that really shine.

You always look so pretty no matter what quality the make up ends up being. I wonder if the eye primer messed with your shadow? I’ve had that happen to me before. And I generally avoid my eyes when spraying a setting spray (although it’s usually bc I’ve already done my mascara). Thank you for trying out these products and giving your thoughts and opinions. I appreciate them! I have my favorites in mascaras and I generally don’t deviate from them unless one comes out that someone I trust really raves about. For Essence I love the Lash Princess false effect waterproof mascara. It can be hard to get off, but I’ve found the Clinique Take the Day Off make up removing oil takes it right off. I have a mini bottle of that and it is reserved for when I wear that particular mascara. Otherwise my ELF Holy Hydration cleansing balm does the trick and doesn’t sting my eyes like so many others do. Have a great weekend! Hugs 💜

It's not the eye primer because I use it with everything. It's either that Spongebob spray OR the Colourpop Hydrating Mist that I used off-camera.... I had to declutter it because I finally realized that when I used it, my makeup would break down and fade like crazy.

Essence is like my second brand i buy most from. Such affordable prices. Love the blushes the contour palette the 6 pan eyeshadow palette. Their mascaras can be hit or miss just like the primers. Hands down the teddie collection lip plumping gloss is a favorite of mine. They can never get their foundations right so i never buy them

The Essence Pretty Natural foundation they discontinued was so much better than this one, it was one of my top 3 favorite drugstore foundations.

Honestly the foundation looked quite nice on camera. Wonder what skin type this is best for. Didn't seem to like the primer. I didn't like the plumping gloss. I actually do like the Too Faced ones but that one had a taste and smell I hated. The colour was very pretty though 😅I still got a Catrice Volumizing lip booster in Rosewood Hills and that shade is super pretty and it's less tingly and doesn't have odd taste

Hey there. Not related to this video (which I enjoyed), but I'm wondering if you can help. I have a patch on my cheek that blush REFUSES to stick to. Liquid, cream, powder - all the same. I've tried different foundations and primers with no luck. Weird right? Figured you've dealt with a lot of faces and might have an idea. 🙂 Thanks!

When you say product refuses to stick to it, what's the problem that's happening? Is it a dry patch, or do you find it to be more oily? What are you seeing when it happens?

It's neither dry nor oily. It's a spot that's like glass where the product refuses to stick. It's in the middle of my cheek where blush goes so always looks patchy. Just odd and annoying. @@TheGlamourIndex

Try powdering it with a loose powder before foundation. Just a light layer. May even need to apply a setting spray on top of the powder, and THEN go into your foundation and normal routine. Try that and get back with me... I'd love to have an update!

I want the palette but it's never available in Europe 😐it's so pretty. I love pink. Mascaras are difficult. I dislike most of them 😅I only like the Tarte Maneater and TF Better than... Every other one I try is always a disappointment

I didn’t even bother with this foundation because of the weird shade range. Online they all look too yellow or too pale. Was it the foundation that made your blush not wear well? Didn’t you say those blushes were really good? ( I was planning on getting them )

Yeah, it was either the foundation or the setting spray I used that day. I used the Colourpop Hydrating Mist off-camera, and I later learned that it makes things break down HORRIBLY on me. The blushes wear really well on me, usually.

I don’t think it’s your setting spray, I’ve seen other reviews saying the formula is different in that one then those other 6 pan palettes

I am not sure if you would be interested in doing a video on this, but I see YTers saying "this colour doesn't go with this look". I don't understand how you determine the lip colour like that. Like I know that normally when u have a bold eye look you should have a softer lip colour but that is about it.

A lot of it is about undertones. If the undertone of your lip color is different than the undertone of the rest of your makeup, it can clash and look off-balance. So, a cool-undertoned lip color would clash with a warm-toned eye look, for example.
