This. I am so pumped that paints like this are starting to enter the more commercial market. I used to live a big city and I could get a hold of Ben nye and Krylan type paints, even if they are a bit hard core for my current life style. I now live in a smaller city so the only way to get those is online (I.e. no trying). My only concern with a lot of the more commercial paints is that they dry so fast - like you’d have to know what you were mixing, since it sounds like you don’t have much time to play around. Hopefully one of the brands will take a page from the professional brands or actual art paint and go with an activator method. Like introducing the equivalent of linseed oil for acrylic paint. Something that delays the dry time for people who want to use them as paint. I mean I love the bright colors, but I’m more interested in creating slightly more vibrant neutrals, like pinkish taupes, or blue-ish greys/browns, or very dark blue/black. It sounds like that could be hard to do with these. Likewise if you made a color you liked, there’s no way to “save” it to use again.

I think the contour needed a of bit blue to look like shadow. It sounds like the paints dry pretty quite for an “artist”. Acrylic paint (for canvas) takes about 10-15 minutes to dry down and artist often add linseed oil to extend the dry time. Is there any plan to introduce an activator (like they have for Ben nye) or something that delays the dry time.

You could probably try mixing a larger amount if you plan on trying to save some and put it in your own airtight container but not sure if it would dry out stored that way

@@katty01 not necessarily a lip gloss, more of like an aloe vera with glitter type paint. So it’s moisturizing, and protects your skin for whenever you want to have more of like a dewy look 💗☺️
