We have it all today - first impressions on foundation, concealers, brow products, primer, eyeshadow and so much more! Are they worth the hype? Or will these products be a massive makeup fail? Lush does some great fragrances but their makeup just sells on the idea it's organic, not that it's good makeup 😅

Hippothotamus and the sad thing is that their makeup isn't even all that natural. A lot of people who use green beauty wouldn't touch the ingredients in lush and think of it as green washing.

My Pale Skin I went into the US store and nearly choked at the prices!! I skipped them because I heard the quality is meh and swatches didn't go well. I loved watching this though 😂

I think my heart actually stopped for a second when the bronzer went flying. Nearly dropped my Starbucks. Honestly though, if it doesn't wash out of the jeans and t-shirt, just replicate the makeup and you could be a "makeup tutorial fail" for Halloween. ;)

Nice and honest review. I've tried a few products from lush with mixed results. I use the mascara with a different brush, works nicely. I'm in love with their eyeliners, the gold one is my favourite so far. Tried the foundation but it didn't sit well on my face, but I'm one who struggles a lot with finding a foundation that works. Recently bought one of the loose powder eyeshadows but haven't tried it yet. Was shown in the store that you can use them with a dry or wet brush for different levels of pigmentation. Some of them changes colours a bit when used with a wet brush.

When Lush is literally the only brand of makeup you can use, you kind of get used to it. There's definitely methods for making it work and last and look good. You do definitely have to work harder than with most makeup. I'm not sure I'd have bothered with it if I didn't have to... but I do, so I did! And it's quite good when you're used to it! I was given a sample of Boots no7 mascara the other day and ended up going back to my lush one pretty quickly as I just couldn't get in with it. Then I started getting compliments on my eyelashes again! So it's lush all the way for me!
