There are commissions that make it a rule to stop the fight if you get knocked down three times in one round. This was a perfectly fine stoppage especially cuz It had only been like 3 min and the KDs were very consecutive

As soon as the fight started, and Gib had that stance, I knew it was over. We all shouldve known it was over. His stance made it to where a Jab would knock him off balance.

@@dragonusuralis8287 I was a KSI fan during this fight, and I knew Jake and Gib were going to have a big fight and all but I didn't follow it because I knew Jake would win (even though I wasn't his fan nor am I a fan to this day) even though I knew Gib was undefeated he had too many holes in his boxing style and although I had only seen Jake fight against Deji I knew Jake would become much better from that fight and knew he would overwhelm Gib, so I didn't even bother watching the fight I already knew who was gonna win

It wasn't lol. Gib talked about why he did the crab stance he ended up doing the peek-a-boo style during one of his spars and Viddal told him that was it. So Gib kept putting it in his head to be low and stay low even tho through out all his training camp and even his past fights he never ever did that. But he kept putting it in his head to stay low for the last week before the fight and in the end he did the crab stance 🤣 hope he does way better his next fight.

@@rubenestrada8435 I understand that he was going for the Mike Tyson peekaboo style, but I hope he realizes that some styles are just not meant to be replicated. Even some pro boxers are unable to replicate it, so I don't understand why he thought he would be able to. I like gib, but if I were to comment on his camp post fight, it felt like the whole camp was just him watching tyson highlights on repeat. It also shows that Viddal really needs to stop coaching and focus on his actual boxing career, which I'm glad he is doing.

@@ashwinrajesh7545 well apparently he never tried to replicate it he just did it once the week before the fight and wanted to stick with it instead of doing what he did through out all his camp 🤣. But yeah luckily Viddal said he's retired from coaching to focus on himself now. Also Gib has a new coach and says that he's worked on everything, his foot work, technique, and speed. He said he's more precise now rather than just trying to be active and add pressure all the time.

He Chose Ben Askren because Ben was Voted Year in & Year Out as 'The Worst Stand-Up Fighter in MMA' but he was an All-American Wrestler ! He fought because he was Guaranteed Minimum of $1,000,000 ! Askren Retired from MMA 2 years ago & just had Hip Replacement Surgery ! If Jake Paul is Serious about Boxing, he would be calling out Legitimate Light Heavyweights & Cruiserweights !

Man I still can't believe it's been a year since I watched this fight from a hospital bed as I had surgery on the same day and I decided to see if I can catch this fight as I was in alot of pain and it distracted me from the pain. I remember how shocked I was seeing the difference between level of skill between jake and gib

Not at all but I do agree if Jake stuck with Mosley I think he would have progressed much further and probably learned more combinations. Right now they are training him to go for one shot knockouts and against an actual boxer he doesn’t hit that way like Deontay wilder
