On the tiny island of Holbox, a stone's throw from the Mexico mainland, lives a legendary angler named Sandflea. People from all over the world travel to fish with him. This is the story of the unlikely friendship between two anglers and the willingness of the fly fishing industry to rally around a guide in need.
This film originally premiered at the 2017 Fly Fishing Film Tour.

That was incredibly beautiful, RA and Mike. There was plot cohesion, concise, meaningful, but eloquent voicework, and a beautiful payoff in the third act. Really exquisitely done. When I was making stuff on the spin rod side in the teens I always told people you are the benchmark and the best in the game. Really beautiful stuff, man. I'm glad you took the paywall down.

Really, really excellent film! I have been to Holbox and met Sandflea, but he was busy so didn't get to fish with him. Maybe next trip. Thanks for sharing a great story.
