Man Mark Pope honestly deserves coach of the year. Transitioning into the Big 12 with a average roster and has done wonders developing these guys running a NBA type of offense. Even die hard BYU fans didn’t think they would be this good in the first year joining the Big 12. BYU better triple his salary soon before the big dogs come calling for him.

Totally agree.

I wouldn’t go as far as to say it’s an NBA offense as their philosophy is jack up 30+ 3’s then play good defense. When the 3’s aren’t falling, we get creamed by bad teams. When they’re falling, we can beat most. I do agree, however, that we’re likely losing Pope to one of the blue bloods if we don’t pony up the cash 😩
@muddywaters28182 ай бұрын
@@hennore well according to Jay Bilas and other analysts it’s an NBA style of offense but yea I think Pope will be snatched by someone. He has strong ties to Washington and Kentucky.

The big schools are gonna be coming for Mark Pope in the off season. Good chance BYU has a different coach next season.

Mark Pope is a brilliant coach and will hear some offers but he's not going anywhere. Next year's team is the one he's been building for the last 3 years since Big12 announcement made. Big talent infusion coming. If he's considering a bigger program, it will be after 2024-25. That team has huge potential. Here's to hoping he stays for a few more years.

It is an absolute crime that Fouss’s alley oop was not on this highlight reel

TCU came out way too hard, especially at altitude. But BYU still should have played better against their street-ball attack.

Shall we call them the "Cardiac Cougs"? YES! Scaring us all half to death with the big comebacks in the 2nd half!

Man, you Cougars are stunning, all a yer. Stunned TCU, even the crowd. Fouse and Hall, quietly scoring, so good yet underrated. We belong. Dancing bear? What's up Mr. Announcer?

Saunders is becoming my favorite player!! SCRAPPER! Great half of basketball for BYU!

Without Saunders energy and fight, we probably don't come back into this one.

TCU’s defense was poor all game. That’s what the TCU coach said. Honestly it’s lucky BYU couldn’t buy a basket in the first half. Definitely a story of two halves tho
