Hearty congratulations for building your dream. Passion and interest trumps the long work days. This is an inspiration for me, unfortunately most population lost the art of building on their own.

Congrats! There are few better feelings than being able to sit back and enjoy the view of years of planning, hard work, and painting. Lots and lots of painting. Enjoy your new barndominium!

Good Job, a lot of hard work to do most of it yourself. The only thing that I would have done differently, I would have put insulation on the outside of the roof. Rockwool under the so the attic would have been conditioned space.

For sure. But it is a large space! Over 16' tall inside the garage, plenty of room inside, not sure if we could actually use the attic space... Over our first winter we were no lower than 55 degrees inside the garage with no heat! 65 inside the living space before we turned on the Mini Splits. So far so good!
