Hello champ, Aussie Barber here. Just wandering why you start with a low bald and not work from top to bottom on the side of the head. Cheers champ
@haydenrose866
@haydenrose866 7 жыл бұрын
Bring down the top to your desired Length first, or a short length in general. Bring the sides Down to a 1 or a 1.5, then begin your guide line and bald it out. Then you can begin your lines and knock em out. It's much easier to blend the fade when you have a shorter length like a 1 as opposed to a 2 or 3 on the sides.
@PattoBandito

I do finish a whole faded out haircut in under 15 mins starting from top to bottom on the sides and back though. 😀✌️

What's up, so I used to work in a hair salon for about a year and 8 months and left to work in a factory bc I was just sick of that salon, the factory didnt treat me too well and I just have a passion for doing hair so now I'm working in a barber shop and I've been there about a month now. I'm not entirely a beginner but I could definitely use some good tips and tricks and see a variety of styles so I can make everybody happy as possible. These videos still help me so much with ideas for new techniques and tools to try!! Thank you so much, I greatly appreciate spreading the knowledge man!

More of these beginner tutorials bro for sure! I never see people doing a fade that starts off on a 1/16 though and that's what I always personally get at the shop and I try to replicate it to the best of my abilities when I fade my own hair. A tutorial with a 1/16 fade would be truly appreciated 👌🏼

Dope video, even for seasoned barbers like myself. I didn't go to school, I did an apprenticeship in a barber shop and then taught myself the textbook knowledge and took and passed my tests. However, I learned on Caucasian hair and wanted more exposure with African American hair. I appreciate this video and the steps you show because I'm humble enough to still say I'm still learning. Every barber should still be learning something. Thanks again!

I work in a heavy Latino area. At the salon we turn down afro hair fades because we have no expirience. However, I really wanted to learn. So I just tell new clients the truth. I have no expirience with your hair, but I can try. I still don't feel confident about the cuts. But definitely I have improved. Your videos are very detailed. Thank you for taking the time to do these kind of videos. I really really apreciate it.

Can someone explain the purpose of the lever? Opening and closing it...I just looked at my clippers and Im still unsure what it does
@goldeneye3100
@goldeneye3100 5 жыл бұрын
depending on what number you have on your clipper, the lever moves you a half step up or a half step down i believe. so if you got a 5 on your clipper, flipping the lever up brings it to a 5 1/2
