The limiter is the only thing saving it, shouldn't be aloud in a burn out comp

Not sure about it being a VE, but the front end is definitely a VF you can tell by the headlights. As for the interior, definitely looks like a VE steering wheel. VF airbag is narrower. I know adding a VF front to a VE is not that easy to do. It doesn't just bolt up the same way. Quite a bit of fabrication is needed to make it work as well as changing the fenders a bit so the body lines don't look like shit up close.

The points I am making is it takes more skill to have to use the throttle then simply floor it and it sounds way better when the engine freely hovers 8000 rather than limiter at 7986.83 rpm for a minute. Side note... Mister limiter did a little bit of pussy footing too..
