Full Review of the Moto Guzzi MGX 21
In 2017 Moto Guzzi developed an experimental motorcycle with the designation MGX-21. This was in the shape of a Bagger, designed in California for the American market but still built in Mandello del Lario. American design with Italian flair and passion.
Still staying true to the Moto Guzzi air and oil cooled 90 degree V motor fitted transversely and final drive being shaft as per all Moto Guzzi's in the past decades.

Discontinued. No 1400 Guzzi’s in the US any longer. I am keeping my 2014 California Custom. I did spring for red heads.

As an American, I absolutely love this bike. I don’t really care for other baggers, but this one id ride with pride! People in the US love baggers because you can travel hours and hours in any direction for thousands of miles/kilometers. The bags on the bikes help to take along things for traveling, food/water, etc all while cruising comfortably at 110+Khm for long periods of time.

I was lucky and got one in perfect shape with 2400 miles on the clock. they eat up miles well and I will ride it the way it should long travel miles! I didn't buy it to collect and let it sit in a garage. my wife loves it and I got the Corbin saddles with the backrest for my wife. we will be going on a 1000 mile ride in the summer and many more! we love this unicorn in a sea of Harleys and Indians that are abundant and not rare

Awesome, I am glad for you and totally agree, it is nice to be different and ride something unique and special, not what everyone has! Where did you get the backrest if I may ask? Is it a Moto Guzzi part?

How is the seat height? Like how tall are you and can you flatfoot it?

The seat is very very low . I’m 6ft and both feet are flat on the ground and knees are bent. I think at 5ft both feet would be flat on the ground with this as you sit in the bike and not on top 💪👌

No I would not if it were mine as it will only gain in value in standard trim. This is going to be a future classic as Moto Guzzi never done baggars before and it doesn’t seem like they will do in the near future either. Was also only produced between 2017 - 2018 and being hand built bikes I would say relatively low numbers produced. This is IMI (Italian Motorcycle Importers) into SA demo bike
