I think the little dude did well actually! He touched Tate multiple times with both hands and made it difficult for Tate to hit him because of his movement. For a little guy he did pretty good and did much better than Andrew’s little cousin. He just needs more cardio but good job 👍

Everybody says that smaller dude went hard, but actually he didn't. He was quite respectful with his punches and was holding back. He knew well who was in front of him. He had plenty of oppotunities to strike in close quarters, but he was scared from the very beginning. The question is why has Tate has chosen a smaller guy for his 1st sparring. Somebody tougher, bigger and with similar technique would have performed much better.
@lazur2012 Жыл бұрын
Stamina is crucial in boxing (of course among the other stuff like strenght, technique, experience). After a minute of sparring guy was making more and more mistakes as he was getting tired really fast. That's why there is a lot of running, jumping, intervals in boxing training. Kudos to him tho, he put some nice punches and dodges.

@@Thai_nerd69 How do you figure that brother?
@doctorhunger9217 ай бұрын
@@qlasalle He probably also trains himself. Shoot, if you train boxing or any martial art, you'd immediately recognize what's happening to Tate at that moment. He's not "biding his time", he's not "waiting for the opponent to get gassed", he's not "playing the long game". What's happening is, the smaller guy's offense is so explosive and dynamic that the pure pressure he's putting on is straight up shutting down Tate's options. The ONLY reason that Tate counters back is because it's sparring and the little dude isn't really trying to hurt Tate, and also because I think the little guy is Tate's trainer, so he's easing up on Tate so that Tate can get his shots in. I honestly think you should be able to see this even if you don't train. It's just deduction and reading body language at that point.

Someone who boxes and moves like that is NOT getting tired after just 1 or 2 minutes. Just from watching his technical skills and footwork, it's very obvious that this is a boxer that is much better than your average Joe. Most likely he is a professional trainer or coach or ex-pro that Tate hired, and at first the coach went a little too hard in the beginning and had to readjust his skill level to Tate's, which is why he seemingly gets "gassed" and shells up leaving his body wide open.
