It’s inspiring how their branding “Kreative Freedom” suits them well in remodeling that RV with a Built-in Studio. Everything from learning that painting is actually a difficult venture, turning junk into use, incorporating a music studio into their tiny home being DJs and enlisting the expertise of others as aid is such a good show of creativity and productive freedom.

ALL RV's somehow manage to leak somewhere. They are in motion and sway and bounce around it's something your going to have to keep an eye on. I've lived in my 36ft Gulfstream Sunstream Hi Rise for 20+ years now. Prior I had a Chevrolet Sierra A class 28ft I lived in for 6 years. The 1st thing I did when I bought the Gulfstream was rip out all of the carpet and put in hardwood floors from the living area and hallway to the rear bedroom. In the bathroom and bedroom I installed ceramic tile floors. The next was to purchase a tankless water heater that heats water on demand. I also have a power innverter. It runs off 4 6 volt golf cart batteries. So those might be upgrades you might want to consider. I live in LA a studio apartment runs around$1,200 per month. I live in a trailer park and I'm lease locked at $565 per month. This includes water, trash, gardener, and electricity. I only pay for propane. I have a separate 35 gallon propane tank so I can fill it without moving the coach. One tank can last 3-4 months depending on if I run the furnace. You don't have to travel full-time to be a full-time RV'er. I did it to beat the high cost of housing in LA. After I fully retire I plan on traveling full time. But I love the RV life style and the people I meet that also love it. It's great to see younger people living the RV life!

That's so amazing and thanks for a lot of great tips! We were also dealing with L.A. prices and decided we didn't want our whole lives to be about rent. So, we decided to live minimally and spend our money on better things. We will go in and out of L.A., as needed. Happy for you that you will be traveling full-time when you retire! Be well!

Just curious, other than the RV, do you still own any car? you know, to fulfill your "more regular" travel needs like go to grocery, office commute, meet with friends for some quick coffee, etc?

Yes, we were towing our Jetta on a dolly with this one so we had a car for all of that stuff. We just switched to a fifth wheel we'll be towing with a truck that we're remodeling, right now. 😁

way to go, great job! That phrase, "One man's trash is another man's treasure" is one of the mottos I live by :) So far everything I've got for my RV renovation has been found at thrift stores or my local landfill

Now this is cool. Thanks for posting. I shared your story today with others here in Campo El Mirador, Hwy 23 to La Bufadora, we are above this tourists site. Great view and nearby is Punta Estero Peninsula/baja beach cove, La Marina and Mama Bears Restaurants nearby, and you can park La Jolla Campground or next door is Villarino's camping site. Big enough for RV's. ...enjoy RVing.

I am literally trying again to make a mini music studio, something portable. So far I got a Push 2 with Ableton Live 10 and a laptop plus a good pair of studio headphones. During this lockdown, which is a bit different for me since I work in an intensive care unit and Im self isolating from my family, I am watching different van conversions and small eco friendly houses. And now this :D Subscribed and liked the video. You are a true inspiration:D While in the UK at the moment, I can only dream of such a spacious RV :)) But who knows where life will take me ? Meanwhile, I will follow your journey and hope one day we re gonna meet :D

by the way, do you guys cook a lot? One of the things I'm worried about is cooking in an RV with limited space and ventilation very close to my recording equipment and instruments. do you ever have this concern?

We cook almost every meal! So far, no problems with that. While we're cooking, the kitchen window, overhead vent and fan are always open.

I love it there, I use to live in Utah for 4 years before living in Southern California, it’s very deferent there now when I used to live there at American Tower...thank goodness we can enjoy snow ❄️ an hour away without spending the whole winter 🥶 I love the mountain 🏔 there for camping 🏕 😍 I used to own 35 ft RV and I have to let go when my husband passed away in 03... I love the RV lifestyle 😍 I can wake up in Malibu without the Malibu price tag in owning a home 🏡...of which I live at the beautiful Calabasas of which it only takes me 15 minutes to see the ocean 🌊 but now I have to drive 35 minutes, it’s still not bad though... Sending you a beautiful week of adventures good vibes during this Chinese scam pandemic ;) God bless the USA 🇺🇸 and God bless you guys...stay safe I can’t wait to see more videos of your awesome adventures

Awesome job guys. One word of caution ..... when turning eft or right, the back end on these RVs swings out a long way in the other direction. Everyone who drives an RV clips something once. Safe travels. Paynie.

Ableton Fam! Im doing this as well with a 69 Holiday rambler that has aluminum framing which was a huge bonus! So far Ive done a complete gut and Im focusing the whole build around a studio in the back where the bedroom use to be. Ive simplified everything by making the bathroom just a compost toilet and shower which gives me more room for the studio. Ive also removed all the electrical and will be running everything off of solar!

Nice! That's amazing! Would love to see it. Solar and composting we've both wanted the whole time, so they're on our priority list. Can't wait to make those mods! There is a second hole to mount the shower head/sprayer behind the swiveling mount, it unscrews, on my oxygenetics I also mounted it higher on the wall so I didn't have to duck down to stand under it.

For the narrower storage space (pantry?) next to the closet: You might want to consider getting mom to help you guys create some "slide out shelves" that run the full depth of that area (on heavy duty drawer rails) so that you can more easily store and get to things in the very back. It's all about being able to get to it easily. You guys did an AWESOME JOB on this remodel. I love it! Subscribing now. (Oh! Meant to ask... Will the two of you be adding solar at some future point in time? Just wondering because of all of that beautiful scenery you're surrounded by in Utah in this video. I would not have wanted to leave anytime soon. haha)

Hey, Michael! Thank you so much for the support! You actually called out the two exact things we want next. I think we'll need to build slide out drawers to size, as we haven't found anything that fits, so far. Agree that it would be so nice! That beautiful place in Utah, we were actually plugged in, but we are so eager to get solar! We like to be as kind to the environment as possible and can't wait for that. Thanks so much for the love! If you're gonna make a chop cut like the one at 14:48 you should use the miter saw that is a couple feet away. Or use a sled on the table saw. Without a sled that cut can be very dangerous.
