@@MaximuszEsala Heck yeah! The Zorro is my favorite radio so far. I have a Playlist on the Zorro if your interested.. So many things to learn in this hobby, but I like open source and the ability to customize everything. It can be very daunting though...🍻

Definitely gonna watch this a few times...I have a super nice 3.5 inch that was custom made for me and I haven't been able to fly it at all😡😡...because I have to have an ELRS Transmitter...gonna be a learning curve for me with elrs, binding phrase, firmware,😳😳💪

It is steep at first. Once you understand the steps, your good to go. It takes me less than 2 minutes to update my quad. The one thing that trips people up with Elrs, they skip a step or mismatch versions between the TX (the part in the radio) and the RX (the part on the quad).. They have to be on the same version. For example, both have to be running 2.5.2.... There's so many terrible videos out there too. Sometimes I wonder if they mess up on purpose to make people comment - I don't know, they're pretty bad.. I only use the wifi method. If you get tripped up, just come back here and I'll try to help. It's all frustrating until it's not...🍻

I Have learn so much with this types of videos , and is not that I dont know how to set it up because I had build other drones but its my first woop that Im dealing with and is the Mob7 that I want to upgrade to bf 4.4 and also I install the receiver happymodelEP2 v3.0.1 and last night I open bf but for some reason I could not put it in dfu mode . so now Im going to try again to see if I can upgrade it but if not then I just going to bind it and send it anyways thank you.

hey nice walkthrough, I was just thinking; wouldn't it be easier if you just saved the presets of the manufacturer's settings and then loaded them on the new beta flight firmware?

@@propsoff You know if you bought a mobula 7 from happy model, they ship it with their configuration. if you go on the presets tab and click save backup, and then flash the new version of BF (with chip erase) you could essentially go back on the presets tab after flashing and load backup and get all of your settings back to how it was no?

@Haks I see what you mean. Unfortunately, the "diff all" won't work in this case because 4.4 has changed enough from 4.3.1... I'm going to have to say that versions of different firmware and firmware on different devices not communicating as they once did is frustrating. Would be nice to have a core user preset (there may be one, and I'm ignorant of its existence).. This hobby is moving so very fast!

I saved this video so I can come back and watch it multiple times. I am having a huge problem, I have a Radiomaster Tx12 and a Meteor 75, the quad has been upgraded to BF 4.4, the Radio was on ELRS V 3.0.1. Just flashed the FC to V 3.0.1 to match the TX as well but still cannot get them to bind. I have no idea why.....very frustrating. Binding phrases match too!

Does it have the serial or built-in SPI receiver - what is the flight controller specs in that one?

@@propsoff according to what I see in beta flight and found online it’s serial….as far the specs go this is what I found… FC&ESC: F4 1S 5A FC (Serial ELRS 2.4G)/ However, I did just read something on the betafpv website that just confused me. It said…. “It supports being upgraded to ELRS V3.0 separately without flashing Betaflight flight controller firmware” ?????

@@motivatefocuspower9775 That's what I was wondering. I bet the 4.4 target isn't correct. Flash it back to the original firmware and redump it. Then update the receiver to whatever your module is on. Side note, I don't own this quad, so take my words with a grain of salt. My video may help, as it sounds similar...🤷🏻♂️

I just got a mobula 7 with frsky spi....took 4 days to get bound then it falls out the sky every 20 sec saying rx loss....so now I ordered a zorro WI elrs built in and some elrs rx and gonna try to do external rx on it and if that doesn't work I'm throwing it away I'm so tired if messing with it

I'm not sure what's going on with the Rx Loss issue and HappyModel. I have seen many issue's as you describe. From the people that added an external Rx, none has had any further problems. I'll have my fingers crossed for you...🤞🏻🍻

The Superbee flight controller has a built-in SPI receiver. The information (target) is in the Betaflight code. You just need to use the "Preset" Elrs 500 and choose 500.. This is shown in the video.. However, if you have a serialrx, you need to follow my CrossF4 video after this one...🍻

@PropsOff I've watched your grounding videos. It's actually betafpvs m03. Basically clear until you fly. I had an hdzero whoop that stopped working the happymodel 75mm so fc is crazy bee f4. I converted to analog by adding betafpvs vtx. I've watched ur videos on that board and the mobeetle one. Lol 3 new beta crosses and they all shake to the point of being useless. My mobeetle diamond seems to have a dead esc as new motors swapping and the one motor will keep twitching. I hate whoops lol. But enjoy igow and winter racing. But I hate whoops lol

@@TorontoFPV Good grief!! You sound like me, been through the gamit with garbage whoop parts.. I tell myself it's too fun to quit,...🤣 Anyways, I also had terrible video with one of my Superbee aios. I pulled a ground from the lipo ground pad to the VTX (HappyModel OVX300) ground pad (if you are powering your camera from the VTX, use that ground pad and doubleup it with the ground for the cam - follow?). Its not the OVX because it was fine in a previous built - it's definitely the flight controller. It helped but isn't perfect. My last video (orbit M&M), the analog whoop edit is that Superbee/OVX... If you would, I appreciate your feedback...🍻

Hey bud question on the mobula6 I seen u have diff antenna than factory. I got the mobula6 elrs and I need to change the antenna but don't want to put the one that came on it how do I tell what will work

The Superbee takes an external VTX (OVX300) that has a U.fl connector. The antenna is a Foxeer Lollipop mini.

@@propsoff ok I'm ordering one just wanna make sure it fits. I feel like the mobula6 wasn't a great buy. The baby ape seems to be a better quad just not indoor safe lmfao. The mobula6 is kinda hard to keep in the air but I'm newb to acro quads so I'm keep practicing

I thought about doing a one-on-one tech support (billing for it), but a simple question doesn't warrant O'l johnnycash... I'm a massive fan of the OVX300/Lollipop mini. Super durable (if you didn't know, I'm a pro-crasher, lol), and I don't get blown out from the other racers - clear as can be. Not to mention, the VTX can go to 200mw. I haven't range tested it, but the abuse those parts have been through is crazy! Lots of frames, motors, and flight controllers, same VTX/antenna...🤌🏻

Hi, my Mob7 elrs is V1 SPI based, not V2 SPI based, with version: # Betaflight / CRAZYBEEF4SX1280 (HAMO) 4.3.0 Jan 9 2022 / 11:42:46 (ee8560af4) MSP API: 1.44. I am not sure I can update to BF 4.4 and ELRS 3.2 as in this video. I am wondering, which firmware date and version you have before the upgrade. Thanks.

It should be fine. If your receiver was a serial uart, you should update it to 2.x then 3.x..

When dealing with the built-in SPI receiver, the Betaflight information should handle the changes seamless. If you run into issues, please come back to this thread.. Enjoy the Breeze...👍🏻🍻👊🏻

Can you go to Betaflight, VTX tab, and look at the left side.... Band Channel Etc... Can you list all your settings and values?

At first I had vtx as identical as yours, and it still was a weak signal. I couldn’t even get half a foot in front of the mobula 6 all snow

You forgot to mention you have to update edge tx because they come with 2.7 and it won't work with elrs 3.0 so you have to go to 2.7 3 or the newest 2.8.4 edgetx

@@Krash_fpv I'm using EdgeTX on the Zorro. Your OpenTX has to be 2.8 or higher.

@@Krash_fpv Any EdgeTX works with ExpressLRS. I'm debating if your confusion is that the LUA script, the Elrs module (external for my example here), and Receiver has to be on the same version of ExpressLRS. The radio firmware is seperate.
