Clark, I nearly fell outta my chair laughing I'm sure you've seen the story about Wells Fargo getting bit by BILT card users paying their rent. Couldn't happen to a nicer company 😜

I am trying to get a tiled floor over a stained concrete foundation floor with a barrier for cracks and moisture (no BASEMENT) for all of the entire, complete house. Who knows how we can do that without chemical removal or sanding the floors? Foundation people do not know what we would need to prepare the house for flooring. Flooring schedulers don’t know squat, and the BBB won’t find out unless there is a dispute…. Help! Won’t a crack and moisture barrier take the place of grinding or chemically removing a stained concrete floor? No one knows the answer! We stained our floor in 2008! Help!

Just be careful who you use for renovations , I started my kitchen redo in November and it’s still not finished. There have been multiple issues to deal with. I’m still dealing with getting a dishwasher- that’s a story on its own. The only thing is I used a big box store and they seem to be standing behind the issues. The one thing is they have gone with one company across the board for all installations (which was not a good idea on their part). The local stores used to be able to negotiate with local contractors, plumbers etc which was better for the customer.

Yep did a kitchen renovation 20+ years ago and it was rough, we did during the summer so we could grill, we moved the refrigerator into another room and were able to use the microwave. The worst was being without a sink of course. It was worth it. But now I’m considering a face lift to this renovation now! lol

Excellent podcast as always. Wanted to speak to the home reno segment as I have been on the fence doing major updates for my home. I live on a nice block of older homes with large lots for our zip code. Some of us back up to a green belt so that privacy is something challenging to find in our area. Due to the size of our lots our properties have been a calling card to builders who buy our older homes/large lots for around $1.2 to $1.3 million, demo and build setback to setback $3 million dollar plus homes or are permitted to also build DADUs or ADUs on the lots bringing the total price point for them to well over $4.5 mill. It is easy to sell to a builder "as is" who would demolish my home for one of these projects so decided against putting any more money into the property for major updates and just maintain the property and do small projects for my own enjoyment. Something to think about for other listeners who are also on the fence unless as you stated homeowners reno for their own enjoyment.

Auto terms of service ask for permission to access your photos and voice mails just look up you car and see what they want access too it is amazing what we let these companies do.

You should never buy used shoes. Fungal infections are contagious amongst other things.

I am so glad that a Clark stinks question, pulled you up about your media comments about San Francisco. I got on your case before about doing the same thing in reference to Miami, my birth city. I've been to every major city in this country multiple times (from Alaska to Florida) I mean every major city and have traveled to all 50 states. I've yet to run into any problem in San Francisco, Detroit, Chicago, Los Angeles, Denver, Atlanta, DC, NY, Charlotte or even Philly (which is just too dense for me), Houston, Dallas, Seattle, SLC, Toronto Vancouver, Halifax and all of this rest. Because I take the same general precautions I take when I'm in my own home major city, here in Georgia. 1-Get up and out early, tourists and criminals are still sleep. 2-Know where I'm going and how to get there. 3-No Uber or Lyft (if I am not willing to ride with a stranger at home, why do it in a strange city. 4-Take public transportation or rent a car. 4-Head on a swivel, 5-Know how to say "no" nicely. 6-Take out items I will use before I get to my destination. 7-Never put anything in the trunk of a rental vehicle and then walk away. 8-Dress like a local. 9-Even if you get a little lost walk with the crowd, until you are oriented 10-Stay visible and away from side streets and alleys. 11-When the day gets dark, my butt is parked (well except, for Times Square).😂 Most of the media statements of city fear are politically loaded these days ("these liberal cities are all bad") and amplified by people that have never even been to them. I know you avoid political tones, so that is not my conjecture with you. But when you parrot as a public figure hawk the badness of a city, any city, it is just wrong. Every city on the list I mentioned, I've enjoyed multiple times. For multiple reasons. Except Philadelphia, nothing motivates me about that place. So please stop it! Tell folks to be intellectually cautious, and let them explorer without your negative statements or influences.

Here's my issue with Chelsea and other doctors who charge late cancellation/no-show fees; the fee amount is frequently ridiculous and it doesn't flow both ways. Meaning, the patient gets no compensation when the doctor overbooks and is 30 mins (or more) late seeing a patient. Many patients often have to take time off or be away from work for an appointment, so for a doctor to be late the patient is losing money in two ways -- paying the doctor and time away from work. There are very few things I am willing to pre-pay for and an experience of any sort that is non-transferable is not one of them.

I agree when the patient has to wait you should get a credit of at least the cancelation fee that you as the patient is charged if they cancel. Also if you as the patient are late you might not even be seen or you will have to wait a lot longer. But if the Doctor is late you will usually get I'm sorry that's it. Patients deserve to get credit or some type of compensation when you have had to wait on the Doctor when you have to wait longer than 30 mins.

SF. Is been going down Hill for years now. Its mayor is worthless. Its basically controlled by 3 grps. The Chinese. Gays. And blacks. SF. Is dying city just like L.A.. Chicago. Boston.and others.

Clark STINKS AGAIN, higher octane does not equal greater power. BUT if your owners manual say premium gasoline REQUIRED, DO NOT use lower than specified!

💯 Agree! If the manual says, REQUIRED. Most manuals say, recommended. That's where we recommend lower octane to save money. 🦨💚
