The Rose Parade will start at 8:00am PST. On January 1, 2018, the world focuses its attention on Pasadena, California, USA, home of the Rose Parade and Rose Bowl Game. It's a celebration more than a century old - a festival of flowers, music and sports unequaled anywhere else in the world. It's America's New Year Celebration, a greeting to the world on the first day of the year, and a salute to the community spirit and love of pageantry that have thrived in Pasadena for more than 100 years.

Just discovered the Kyoto Tachibana SHS band. Hands down the best I have ever seen in my. 66 years of life on this planet. My father was a drummer in a military band. Wish he could have seen this before he passed!

京都橘高校を中心に観てたので、わかりませんでしたが、この映像を観てパレード全体が観られ規模の大きさハデさにただただ驚きです。そのなかで一番、評価されてるのが、橘高校なのですねえ🎵素晴らしい‼️日本人として誇らしく思います。🤗

They aren't "THE" Honor Band. Almost every other band acted and looked similar. But Kyoto Tachibana were the most entertaining!

My brother was in the opener, that’s why I’m here. He’s one of the trombones for RCC, and he went to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade with RCC later that year. Thanks for showing.

I am 21 years old, I did not know that there was a beautiful show like this, I saw yesterday for the first time on the TV station SBT, here in Campo Grande, capital of the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil. I really liked it, congratulations. The only colorful spectacle as it exists here is the carnival, but unfortunately, it is not used natural materials.

I love KTLA folks.. I love quite a few of the floats, a lot of work, a lot of volunteers, thanks for all of your hard work.. Our grand Marshall Gary Sinise, from the movie, ( Forest Gump) a wonderful, caring human being, someone who really cares about the community~~ Great coverage. No, cant pay for it. Just the timing of the commecials, not the commercials, themselves. Our ch 7 was doing this. It was reapeated on our ch 312 with less commercial that did not skip over the horses

Todo el desfile fue tan aburrido como siempre, pero todo se animó y se alegró cuando aparecieron las chicas de la escuela secundaria Kyoto Tachibana y les ganaron a los hombres de las bandas de universidades de E.U. Los dejaron en vergüenza ante los suyos y en su propio país y en su propia casa. Lo malo... es que de aquí en adelante, todas las aburridas y estáticas y militarizadas bandas le copiaran a Kyoto Tachibana. Cuando pasaron junto a las cámaras de una televisora, bajaron el volumen para que no se oyera su música e hicieron una mezcla del sonido de otra banda y hablaron tanto que no dejaron oír bien a Kyoto Tachibana. Sería por envidia?
