Besides the Karnak Temple, the Luxor Temple is also one of the important places of worship of antiquity .The relatively well preserved temple complex with its mighty columns, the colossal statues and the interesting obelisk stands in the middle of the urban area of the modern city of Luxor. Zauważyliście że tynk odpada i widać podobieństwo do innych budowli pod spodem , tak jakby ktoś chciał by przypisano jemu zbudowanie tak zaawansowanych budynków na całej ziemi :) Have you noticed that the plaster is falling off and you can see the similarity to other buildings underneath, as if someone wanted to be credited with building such advanced buildings all over the world :)

There is this famous example of that happening I think in Renaissance Italy but can't remember, where the artist/builder was ordered to put a plaque with the name of the guy who paid for it, attributing him with the creation of the tower (as far as I recollect). He did so using a material that would erode quickly over the years, revealing his own name underneath cut into the stone under it. :)
