Kewl! Possibly the most helpful and important comment I have ever read on FaceBook! ( ha! I was really put off by NK. thought he was a complete and utter douche... but perhaps there IS some depth to him )
@Capybearacuda8 жыл бұрын
+Louise Belcher yeah round tables are a lot of cause and effect between different people. They're like a melding pot of creativity and interaction. Comedians tend to be very narcissistic. So there was a lot of tensions & anxieties. I prefer director or writer round tables. Also in the level of TV and production that NK is at with the league, its much more about the art then the adrenaline rush of small live comedy so there was some disconnect there

leftistLizard92 yah, it was like she was contemplating through the first 90% ‘Either I’m not an actual comedian or none of these people are...’ but then she started playing along toward the end, so I figure the conclusion she came to was she has a better lock on a future via SNL

What was Cecily talking about with kids being brought in to talk about a tragedy? She never finished that thought.
@Amanda-kd1zr Жыл бұрын
They had just brought up the "national tragedies that happened that year" in context everybody knows, at the time, that they were referring to the Sandyhook Elementary shooting. And she said she liked how they didn't make any light of it and "Lorne had those kids on to sing." It was a children's choir, I believe from that area, that sang Silent Night to have a somber moment for the cold open. She definitely finished her thought, as all she said was all that needed to be said... you're just maybe missing context since it's 10 years removed. Plus, she said sing not "talk" which is key.
