March 29, 2024. Day 1 of my SOBO thru-hike of the Old Uwharrie Trail. I started at Tot Hill Farm Trailhead in the Birkhead Mountain Wilderness and finished at a stealth site around mile 28 along the Uwharrie Trail. A road walk was required in between.
