May 19, 2024 - Day 3 of 6 on the MST. Continuing on with segment 4. After leaving the Linville Gorge the trail mostly followed streams, going by several amazing waterfalls (Steels Creek, South Harper Creek Falls and Harper Creek Falls), viewing a spectacular box canyon from an amazing overlook and challenging me with 13 stream crossings! Another day of 20+ miles and the miles were worth it. This was such a fun and beautiful section of Segment 4.
