do you need to upgrade the fender to fit the bumper like the evo?

No you dont need to. It fits just right. But this varis is not for the wide body evo. More for the lancers.

Is this for an evo or a base lancer?? Could you put a link to the bumpers?

front can install on evo, rear is for lancer, for evo10 need different fitment

It's polypropylene for the front bumper. But the rear is just fibre.
