In this video, Brooks Instrument proudly presents the theory of operation behind our third-generation Quantim® Series Coriolis liquid flow meters and controllers. The Coriolis flow meter is designed for low-flow gas and liquid applications such as catalyst research, mass balance calculations in pilot plants, and more. The basic construction of this Coriolis liquid flow meter includes a flow body, an in-line control valve, a Coriolis sensor, and a printed circuit board. The Coriolis sensor is the heart of this flow meter. It consists of the sensor tube, tube drive electronics, digital signal processing, and optical sensors. The circuit board is the brain of the device. This third-generation Coriolis liquid flow meter is robust, reliable, and supports advanced diagnostics compared to traditional Coriolis flow meters. Through advanced alarms and diagnostics, it can monitor and correct issues before the overall process is negatively affected. Additionally, the Brooks Instrument Coriolis liquid flow meter supports flow out, density, and temperature. This Coriolis meter will improve the user’s quality, yield, and throughput of their process. It will also reduce the scale-up time from lab to pilot plant to production for a faster return on investment and lower cost of ownership.
