The $15 minimum wage will result in hiring less people and doesn't help the elderly. UBI would create far more jobs, and account for the elderly.

Please watch Andrew Yangs AARP forum on this channel. It was much, much better. No empty platitudes, no fluff. Just facts and innovative ideas, motivated by a love for Humanity. He even has a sit down interview; just go look at the other videos on this channel. His videos are viewed and like multiple times any other candidate. I have a feeling you’ll be changing your mind. :)

I have watched quite a lot of candidates in this series from Des Moines Register, and I plan to watch them all. So far Andrew Yang stands out in engaging the audience. Or better said; he was himself and the audience was engaged, was with him. Yang has a different effect than the others, who tend to blend together in a more monotone performance. Yang can answer a question and I feel all answers are part of the larger vision and set of policies. All candidates are well-meaning and some have a couple of good ideas too. But they do not feel as based in a unifying philosophy as all of Yang's ideas are to me.

Once a Beto fan, but this forum highlights his failures to describe policy and just talk about promises like a typical politician. Became a mockery of what he once was in the Senate race. Talks stories and fluff points, but substance is low. Doesn’t have my vote anymore

TheGamingKid7 I think it’s more like we know that Beto is a clown now that he’s running for President. He only seemed reasonable when you compare him to Ted Cruz. If he was more Progressive, he may have won.

First time I watched Beto O'Rourke for a longer interview. He did very well, and he definetly looked better than during the debate, where he came across as a sad zombie. Here he is okay, lively and rather crisp in his answers. (A bit too much hand movements, but hé, that's him. At least he's not jumping tables ;-) I still think he should have a acting coach that helps him with his public performances. To me it feels as if there is a downer mood hanging over him, that he should be able to shed. [Disclaimer: This all is solely based on my personal sensitivity, and I could be way off from mainstream feelings about Beto.]

I support Yang but think Beto did okay here. He did offer some specifics not just descriptions or platitudes every time eg. Reducing drug prices, yeah I reckon he did okay...only thing he was unable to say convincingly is why UBI is a bad idea
