Materials used:
Quarter sheet (approx. 14" x 11" or 37 cm x 27 cm) Arches Cold Pressed, 185 gsm watercolor paper
Paints - all Winsor and Newton Artists Quality paints.
French Ultramarine
Cobalt Blue
Cobalt Turquoise
Permanent Rose
Scarlet Lake
Cadmium Orange
Cadmium Yellow
Raw Umber
Burnt Sienna
Waterproof support board held at about 15 degrees
Round brushes, size 8, 12, and 16. With a large round brush size 24 or a mop brush for wetting the back of the paper.

Such great tutorials, fascinating to watch with your easy way of explaining the colour mixes and techniques is excellent for a beginner like me. Can I ask what type of brushes you're using, they look like Sable rather than synthetic?

You are so welcome! The brushes I use are squirrel syntheic mix. Mostly squirrel hair with some Taklon.

Your videos are so awesomeee 🌟 , can you please do a night time scene of waves at the middle of the ocean...i am trying to make a painting which requires a sea storm with large waves with peole on a wooden ship( like pirate ship)....it would be reallllyyy helpful... i hope u can show how to make one...no pressure though 😅, it just would be a great help.

The important thing is to learn from every painting. I have been painting and teaching watercolors for over 25 years. I do not expect my students to do as well as me, while they are learning.
