The timer is for the crafter to make a new tool around the time the gatherers need it

I knew this a while ago they should just throw item away when durability is 0 broken tool and they just help themselves to a new tool in the box's as they are automatically made anyway so there should always be tools available Bone Tools. Only thing is you have to have Awareness Level at 25 I think for the Granary and Breeding Farm but if you use Butchers Table on a loop to automatically convert Animal Carcass it gives you like x4 the amount of bones from it.

In the tutorial it teaches you how to select a product type for the chest. The bots use this information to store and take items from those same chests ^_^ The toolbox is simply designated this way for "Tools"

Hmm... I'm not sure. I'm a PvE player. Adapting automation for PvP utility would have to be something you figure out for your own goals I think.

If you have a secure base, you have your tribesman crafting gear for you. You go out and raid, bring back resources, you imediately go out to raid again because while you've been out, they've been crafting. Get some to defend your base eventually and you'll be chilling. The automation he's set up is more for pve/single players having an open area to freely do stuff. But for pretty much everything else you can have them crafting your basic resources, gear and tools to upgrade your bases and go on raids.

The breeding station will let them work the animals. They won’t harvest animals they kill unfortunately

I’m just going to farm difficult metals myself… I don’t think it’s a good idea to try and have minions do it with their ai

Just tame good miner tribesman a do more difficult ores by yourself you can lvl up him and deal with enemies

Actually it’s the opposite. If you could automatically repair gear materials would pile up from not being utilized. It requires fewer brain cells to hit repair than it does to find the right balance of time and materials for perfect automation.

@@SpaceCoconut I have to disagree, why would materials pile up? It would make sense to set up workers sothat they bring their tools to a specific chest (player decides which one) once they are all broken and add another mechanic that you can set up a worker to get the broken items out of this chest to bring it to the repair bank and repair them from materials out of the chests that you have sorted and set up for these things. All they needed to do for that to work is set up workers sothat they put broken tools to a certain location which we know they can do in other mechanics already, so the programming work for that is already done. It only has to be implemented Another thing is: Why even use time windows between crafting intervalls? All you need is an option to set a minimum amount of items you want to have in ur base and once the amount of items you have goes below that minimum, craft new ones. like for example "minimum 10 pickaxes" - so whenever u habe less than 10, the worker crafts until its at 10 again. This works for literally all automation processes, doesent cause overproduction and doesent require many brain cells. What about this is complicated?
