if you don't bring an alpaca, you can deploy the llama and have it follow you like a pet. means you can fight without putting it down/picking it back up.

Kill the llamas to respawn baby ones. You can easily do it with a greatsword because the jump attack cripples move speed. If you abduct or kill only the baby ones then an adult will replace it.

Awesome stuff thank you. Nowhere else could I find how to get there. I was just looking for the portal (was stuck up north with no way to get inland) and ended up getting a bonus Llama!
