That “serious” assistant (dare I say it?) of your daughter had me in stitches with her oh so serious, dry and no-nonsense delivery. Product reviews can be so dry and boring, but here you two managed to bring some light hearted fun and humor to the table.

A great video, as always, Jeremy. Very informative, and the addition of Ms. Researcher to the crew added some humor. Love the last water balloon being an attack model instead of a test model. Glad you are showing more of your funny side. Thank you for having the prize draw, the charger package is impressive, letting you make it a fixed installation or take it on the road, with options to power up the vehicle. Smart design and plenty of great features. Is there a way of preventing someone from making off with the unit or any of its parts, because that would be an awesome feature.

Is this video sponsored? If it is, I'm pretty sure it should be clearly stated in the title, description and/or the video itself, even if you only got the product for free without getting paid. KZfaq is pretty strict with these things so might get into trouble if you don't follow the rules.

The scheduling in the app is great. We have different Kwh rates at different times for the day here in California so being able to set it to start charging during off-peak times is handy. I'm curious about how the home energy monitoring works and how the charging would adapt if we were using a lot of home appliances while charging.

the funny thing is that Lvl 1/2 "chargers" do not perform any conversion, the same 110/220V AC on the input side is delivered to the output. the actual charger that does all the heavy lifting voltage conversion/ rectifying etc is in the car the lvl 1/2 charger handles the negotiation protocol with the car, thus are realtively cheap, even L2 can be found at starting price around $100. DC fast charging is the opposite, everything happens in the charger, that provides the exact voltage required by the battery at any time (negotiated with the cat) on the car side you just need rhick wires for the high current, sensors, and some active cooling if you want sustained charging speeds. cars could be made cheaper, lighter and simpler if all chargers where DC chargers ( not necessarily "fast"). but then every charger would be more expensive/complex. from home charging perspective, it would make sense to buy a dc charger once and charge all your future evs with it in the future, than have a charger in each EV. but from practical point of vue, being able to charge from any lvl 1/2 harger or carry a small mobile charger and charge feom any outlet is worth the compromise, be ause even ifnyou only use it a.few rime in a year, it could be the difference between being able or not to travel somewhere with low dc fast charging availability and get overnight charging

Multiple protections are a must for the EV charger, as it needs to be robust enough to withstand rough use. The EV charger is a critical device for every EV user, and it is not a trivial piece of equipment. It should be reliable and durable to prevent two disappointments: a low battery in the electric car and a non-functional charger. Fortunately, the Fulsolen charger excels in addressing these concerns, providing a solution that ensures both reliability and performance. 😍

I like the delay function. Other time related settings/functions would be nice, such as time of day to start/stop or a window of time to charge (maybe you don't have the home sensor connected and just want to charge at certain hours of the day to take best advantage of electricity rates, solar availability etc.).
